This clock is an excellent way to help the elderly know the day and time. I purchased for my 90 yr old Dad and 83 yr old Mom. They LOVE IT! It was easy to set up and is very easy to read. It is accurate and looks great in their den next to their tv. I caught it on sale which made it an even greater value for the money. My only wish is that the cord to plug it in was 10 feet long instead of almost 5. This would have given me the option to hang it on the wall.

This was my third time purchasing this clock Two were for my own home to be used by my adult son who has a TBI with memory loss One was for a friend whose Dad has dementia. They are practical -provide time of day-date- inclusive of day date year. Am pm morning afternoon. Evening display. Organized screen for ease of reading. Very easy to manage settings. Highly reccomend.

My mom has difficulty recalling what month/day of week/time of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) due to advancing dementia. She also has advanced AMD, so her vision is limited and has difficulty reading black on white. I purchased this clock as it had the features I needed to make my mom's life a bit easier. The clock (see pictures) I programmed to be in a multi-color format (day blue, month/day/year in a red/orange and, although the time is in black/white, the font is large enough for her to discern the time. I think the color banners I just mentioned above/below help too. The clock is very easy to set up, the menu buttons are on the back (see pic). I like that it has a daylight savings time setting, so it automatically changes (it can be disabled). The clock has an alarm feature, but this is too advanced for my mom, so I have not used it, but it seems straightforward enough for someone who can. It also has a slot for an SD card so it can function as a digital photo frame. I've not used this feature. All functions and features are clearly explained/outlined in the guide included with the clock. The clock has helped and I like the clock so much that I purchased two more (total of three) and have one in the kitchen, living room and her bedroom. The photos in my review are in sequence - the box before opening all the way through the clock on the top of her microwave. It has a peg stand (see pic) and while it does the job, I've noticed that when she struggles with the microwave door, she has a tendency to knock it over, so I had to move it. Under normal conditions - setting on a shelf, etc. the stand is no issue. I'd recommend the clock for any person who has vision or other challenges with day/date/time of day. As an aside, it also has a small weather indicator to the right of the time, but it is too small for my mom to see. Two enhancements I'd like 1) the ability to make the weather indicator larger and 2) a more robust stand. The clock including the frame measures (metric conversions are appx.) 7.75 inches (19.7cm) (H) x 5.5 inches (14cm) (L), the screens diagonal measurement is 6.5 inches (16.5cm), and the screen itself measures 5.75 (14.6cm) (H) x 3.25 (8.25cm) (L). Where H=height and L=length. I hope this review helps - and if you are a caregiver, please remember to take time to recharge by taking some time for yourself.

I work in a senior living community. Some of our residents have dementia. They don't always know what day it is or what time of day it is. This is the perfect clock for them or anyone else. It's easy to see and tells you the date with day, month and year and the time am or pm and morning, afternoon, evening. Highly recommend this for those that have cognition issues and also those who have poor sight or can't read a clock easily.

This clock is easy to set up and has a very clear display. I can read everything across the room. Best of all, if you awake during the night as I do, it tells you the day and hour at a glance, no confusion.

Large, bright print. Information at a glance. It was easy to change to regular time when daylight savings time ended.

I have to reset clock every couple of months.Appears to regularly gain time. The large clock numbers , and large date and day display are a great feature and a big plus too. A real memory helper. Quality B, Value B, Display A+

Great for elders with dementia. Bought for relative who tends to wake up in middle of night thinking it’s time for morning walk. Definitely helps with memory issues. Nice to have day of week and time of day such as morning & nighttime spelled out in larger letters as well as exact time.
