I have really long hair that tangles easily, and this brush both untangled it fast, and very smoothly no pulling at all. Very nice feeling brush too, does not feel cheap at all.

This is a great hairbrush. I bought the woman's brush for Mama. She didn't use it right away and not until I pressed her what she thought of it. She used it once and told me that she was sorry that she hadn't used it before as it was the best brush she had ever used. (I wrote a separate review about the woman's brush.) So I finally read the whole description and realized that for years we had been using stiff nylon bristle brushes. The main thing about these brushes is that there is two types of bristles: stiff nylon and boars hair. The boars hair bristles actually distribute the natural oil throughout your hair. There's a big difference in your hair with an even distribution of oil. So, anyway, Mama liked it so much that I bought myself one. It looked exactly the same as the woman's brush. Now, wait a minute? However, the men's brush goes through my hair differently than the woman's brush! We both really like theses hairbrushes & have already recommended them to others. Buy it, you'll be glad you did!

I bought this for my grandson which is in 12th grade for his birthday. He loved it. The quality was really good. He has thick curly hair and it worked awesome.

This brush is very soft and excellent at adding volume. The scalp massagers, travel bag, and wide-tooth comb are definitely a bonus that I’ve gotten use out of! Would recommend!

I got this brush as a Christmas gift for my husband who started growing out his hair. Of course I had to test it out myself..I fell in love with it and had to buy one for myself! The bore hair bristles nicely distribute hair's natural oils to the ends of the hair strands, making hair shiny and soft. The longer bristles help to easily detangle hair. The wood comb is well made and works well for a comb. Scalp massage brushes are a nice touch and very relaxing. The carrying pouch was the cherry ontop of what turned out to be a great purchase..Oh yeah, my husband really likes it too!

I bought this for my son, who has very thick hair. He is always pulling the bristles out of the brush, or even the entire rubber backing they are attached too. Comb teeth are always being broken also. So far...and we have waited a month to see how they would hold up, which both the brush and comb have.His hair is also looking much better, soft and shinny.We are also both extremely happy that no boars had to die for this product, we would not have purchased it otherwise.All in all extremely happy with this product, we would purchase again.

For some extra context - my hair is very long (butt length), extremely fine, medium density, and slightly wavy. It's very prone to frizz and split ends and it knots if you so much as breathe on it haha.I've never had a boar bristle brush before but heard they were excellent for fine hair like mine so I decided to give this one a go. I decided to go with the one with nylon pins instead of just straight-up boar because I thought the added detangling ability might suit my hair's density more, and I went for the "mens" set (lol) because I already have a headband like the one that came with the "ladies" set. I figured, it's a really good price so not a huge loss if it doesn't work for me, right?Well let me tell you, I did not expect this to be as great as it is. I've been using it for coming up to two weeks now and the condition of my hair has improved DRAMATICALLY. I detangle the ends gently with the wooden comb (yes, it's real wood!), massage my scalp a little with the palm brush, then get to work with the boar bristle brush. I thought I'd need to section my hair to get it through but it actually works just fine as long as I take my time and brush from all angles. It takes me about five minutes of brushing to feel like I'm done and I'm always amazed at how greasy my hair looks at first - all that disappears after a little while and my hair feels amazing afterwards. My scalp is also staying a lot cleaner than it ever has before, so I don't need to use dry shampoo anymore!I only have a couple of very minor issues with it, but they're ones I can live with - first of all, when I washed it for the first time I noticed a lot of bristles coming out. I even lost one of the nylon pins! I may have just been a bit too rough with it and it hasn't happened since. The only other issue is that the handle is a little bit uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time - I'd love for it to be a bit rounder instead of being so flat.Otherwise, though, it's a wonderful brush for an amazing price! It's a joy to use and I look forward to my evening brush every day now :) I hope it lasts me a very long time and I can't recommend it enough.

I like it! Those head massage things are amazing, the brush is very durable and so nice to use, the wood comb is excellent for when out and about! Even comes with a carry bag cool.
