Had an issue, replacement sent and works like a charm
My initial set had issues with both bands. One of them "walked" severely in service, and the other started to separate before I was even done doing a few "break in" spins to get them stretched out. Contacted the seller and got a replacement set right away. You don't need a lot of the compound on the belt to work, but what I do suggest is that you "burnish" the compound into the belt - the stem of a thick screwdriver or the edge of bottle-bottom should let you generate some heat in the belt and "bed" the compound a bit and even it out on the belt.

Works great
These work great and I'm glad it comes as a two pack as I actually use them both with two different compounds for my personal stropping process. Definitely ordering more from here when I get a chance as I do knife sharpening professionally and it's always good to have extra, even if leather lasts for a long time. Definitely recommend! I get so much better stropping results from these than the traditional stropping methods and I can verify that through the 90x magnification inspection I do with each knife compared to other techniques I've used in the past.

Polished enough for me!
This is what the Aftermarket Leather Strop Belt with Polishing compound looks like! I know there's a much more Shiny Sharp Blades better than this but this one is Shiny and Polished enough for me! Just follow the Instructions well! Read it! I used the Green Compound for Polishing. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this product most of those complaints are the leather belt tearing so quickly because those people running their worksharp too fast! Read the and understand the instructions carefully then you'll get the results you wanted. I ran mine on slow speed for the worksharp ken onion there's a dial knob in the trigger lower the speed down for finer honing and polishing you don't run it on high speed, that's only for grinding and sharpening and forming burrs but on polishing stage the machine should be slow. Comments Updated: 12/04/21 I'm still using the belt until now! And I sharpened 30 knives already and this stropped belt is pretty beat up but it can still polish and honed I'm still waiting for this leather belt to give up so I can get a new one!

Perfect finish for a sharp blade
My wife bought me a Ken Onion sharpener for Christmas along with the “Super Strop” belt kit and have been using them for about 6 months. I have sharpened blades from 1 ½ pin-knives to 11” chef’s knives. Before I got this sharpener, I was sharpening my favorite 10” Buck chef knife every time I carved a brisket. So far, I have carved five briskets and the knife is still sharp! It must be the shape of the sharpened blade and the strop finish that retains its sharpness. As far as using the Super Strop belts: it is a snap! Follow the directions for the sharpest blades possible. I always finish each blade using the two leather belts along with the supplied compounds. But believe me, these belts actually do what the ads say. If you are going to all the trouble to sharpen a blade, why not “kick it up a level” by using these Super Strop belts. You will not be disappointed.Carl Fry

Replacement Belt Set is Perfect
My original order had a bad belt. One side was longer than the other side. Possibly glued together crooked. It would constantly run up on the pulley edge and roll over no matter how I adjusted the pulley. Amazon has a great return policy so I just ordered a replacement. Both of the new belts are perfect and work fine on my Work Sharp. One note is that these belts do not come with directional arrows on the back like the abrasive belts do. I just marked the back of mine with a sharpie so that the scarf joint was trailing the rotation of the belt on on the top side. Just makes it quicker to put the belt on properly.

Not worth the money
Well Amazon requested a review on this product and I have to say I am not pleased and lucky for me I have quick reflexes. Because I could have possibly been injured while using this product. I placed the first belt on the worksharp knife sharpener. The way it came in a package loaded it up with their compound that was sent to me with the belts are in as I was using the leather strop instantly snapped. I jumped back just in time and lucky for me my hands weren’t nowhere near the edge of the knife I was stropping. Thinking that it was because of user error I loaded the second one up but this time I put the machine at the lowest speed possible and use mineral oil on the strip which was the second That came in the package mind you it was mineral oil that’s used for leather conditioning are used one small drop which is way more than enough to kind of soften the leather giving it a little bit of a gift but not much loaded that up with the compound as well and at a lower speed storage to re-strip The same knife and it happen again the belt snapped in half since I did in order four of them I couldn’t fully target the issue there was no crack in the leather that I could see so I will have to say that the leather may have not been of good quality. And yes I moved out of the way in time before I took any pieces to the face. So if anyone orders this Product be very careful and using it and you don’t need a whole lot of force or any force while using the strop or any strop in general. I have to say I am not happy with my purchase
