Another Pearls winner
Great collection of strips featuring Pearls’ favorite characters—Rat, Pig. Goat, Zebra, the Crocs and many others. Pastis has added comments under many of the strips, many times making fun of himself for mistakes or less than funny puns.

Patis Strikes Again!
Here's yet another compilation of "Pearls" to amuse (Horrify?) you. It's the usual bunch of suspects up to their definitely deep left field actions. Nothing has really changed, but the way the characters go about their routines does change with frightening frequency. Rat is still Rat, but somehow Pastis finds new avenues for Rat to travel to do his nefarious deeds. Pig is still the totally bewildered innocent, and you wonder why he still ain't woke up and smelled the coffee. Zebra is still plagued with his crocodile neighbors who still try (unsuccessfully) to eat him, and goat is still his erudite self. In all, the book is a hoot and well worth having.

Steph rocks
My favorite comic strip. I save it for last and often buy the Sunday paper just to read the comics. People who write to Mr. Pastis need to get a grip! If a comic is inappropriate use it as a conversation starter with Junior! It is a joke kid!

The BEST!!!!
Stephan Pastis is a great writer and cartoonist, and amazingly funny. There are a few times that he is insulting, but that is about 0.1% of the time. Having himself as a character, while he continuously makes fun of himself and has the characters criticize him just makes it all the more funny and amusing. Five stars and three cheers for Stephen!

Stephan Pastis is the funniest comic strip artist since Berke Breathed!!!!
Pearls Before Swine is funny. Pearls Falls Fast is the best collection yet!! Rat, Pig, Goat, Zebra, and the Crocs know how to tell the truth about life, and it isn't always kind or pretty, but it is always humorous. I think Pastis is a highly underrated cartoonist. Check Pearls Falls fast out, and be sure to check out all of the Pearls treasuries, as Pastis's commentary throughout give a great insight into the slightly unbalanced mind of the Pearls creator.

wonderful as always! but why are not the other books on e-book format?
I wish that not only the treasury versions are available in e-book format. Many of Pearls fans live in countries where real estate is so costly we have to limit the physical items we own. Check out some of the tiny living spaces in Japan and Singapore. We are afraid to even put on weight for fear of not being able to fit into our living space, so please do consider e-book format for all the Pearls collections.

Stripped and Searched
Another great collection of Pearls comic strips, punctuated by frequent commentary by the author about the strips themselves. As much as I wish my local paper would carry Pearls, I actually enjoy waiting for these treasuries to come out to read Pearls in one fell swoop.I love this strip!

Always awesome
Every Pearls Before Swine treasury is a lot of fun to read - both comics and Stephan Pastis' commentary. I buy every new one that comes out and end up lending them around to a group of friends as soon as I finish. Can't wait for the new one. My martial arts Sensei was so disappointed when I said I had no more after this one.

best cartoon being done today
Pearls before Swine is simply the best comic strip to come along since Calvin and Hobbes. What it does best is make you laughand it does this very well. The treasury editions does more than just collect a bunch of daily strips (including the Sundays). Pastisgives commentary on many of these strips that can be informative, entertaining and downright funny. Reading Pastis is a great way to lighten your day.

Another pearly gem
The usual blend of great fun, wonderful/dreadful puns and irreverence! Additionally we have Stephan's funny commentaries on most of the cartoons. If you have the Pearls desk calendar (I do) the cartoons are, in the main on the caledar too but the book will last and the calendar (in the way of things) will slowly and surely lose its pages and become a happy memory.Great stuff - I thoroughly recommend it.
