Door and Window Alarm, Battery Operated

I purchased this for my daughter who has five children...Several times one of the left the door open to the propane freezer in the garage.(they live in the mountains). When the open door was discovered, several hundred dollars worth of meat and produce had to be thrown away. This alarm works like a charm for her Since they installed in on the door of the freezer, there has not been one incident. It makes a very loud noise and has to be reset each time, so there is no chance of a "misfire".

Bought two of these for garage freezers. Took out of package and right away I noticed the adhesive pads are old and dried, the paper backing fell right off. Upon testing, one will not shut off at all so no use for it, returning. On the second one,The gap between the door and freezer is too great if mounted flush. I purchased double sided foam tape to mount 'unflush' but good enough. New comment** the dang batteries on the one that worked died in one day. Give them both back!

We bought this because my husband kept forgetting to close the freezer door!! So now everytime he opens it, this alarm starts going off and reminds him to close it when he’s done!

After an attempted break in was thwarted by this little alarm, the other 11 units in our building ordered them. Suggestion: afffix the jamb magnet with velcro tape so if you open the window for ventilation (or an AC unit) you can move the magnet to a new position.

After about 2 weeks it started just going off on its own with the door shut.

Item is being used on a freezer to keep an adventurous toddler out by warning us he's got the door opened.

It worked great it scared the heck out of the kids buts that's what they need to keep the fridge door shut

I could not get it to work.
