RetiCAM® Mini Ball Head BHA20 - Metal Ballhead 360° Pan 90° Tilt Tripod Mount - BHA20, Aluminum

I paired this up with the RetiCAM® Hot Shoe to Tripod Screw Adapter and RetiCAM® Smartphone Tripod Mount and they work great. I love having the ability to take a photo with my DLSR or my smartphone. The pieces are made from metal and are very sturdy. The best part is, I feel very comfortable that my phone is secure and sturdy in the mount.

Ball does not lock when screw is tightened.

Nicely made, compact and almost all metal which is nice. The only reason it is not 5 star is that the food that screws up against the camera can come disconnected from the nut underneath which will let the camera rotate. Just need to take a little care with setting it up. Not a big deal.

Less than excited for this product. I got what appeared to me to be a customer return. Also it didn't work that well overall.

I was again fooled by some reviewers of this item on Amazon, some said it was good quality and that it worked great. This wasn't my case, though most of the materials used is metal, the workmanship isn't the best. The Thread where the knob is, seems like it would strip very easy, since it's made of aluminum. When I tighten the knob, I could see metal shaving falling off it. I'd rather spend a few more bucks and buy a branded ball head made of high quality materials

Great little table top Mini Ball Head for a small camera or phone. Weighs 2.76 oz. May fall over if a heavier phone is not straight up to down. But this is a very handy thing to have around. Well made and well worth the price tag. I Recommend highly.

Just arrived yesterday and I'm pretty disappointed. Ball doesn't have the strength to hold a DSLR steady. I have used all but a wrench to tighten the wingnut and the ball doesn't have the friction to stay in place.I'd guess its a fine ball head for a point & shoot. But shouldn't be used for DSLR.

Very useful replacement head. Saved a tripod I had lost the original head from.
