So, the initial product delivered was flawed with the reading. So, placed Replacement request, and within 2 days the new arrived.While the big carton box was open which was shown by the delivery person, the inside main box also I could see was opened. However, I was only interested in whether the product is new or not. And it was. The battery was also new.And the thing works fine. Weight measurement is accurate to the 'T'. The app works absolutely as YouTube video demonstrate.Had my extended family come and take their BMI, protein, water content, etc measurement and the results seem okay to me.So - Yes, hopefully a good buy in the long term too. So we bought this smart scale after a lot of research on BIA, nearest alternatives, the order was delivered promptly by Amazon. We were till then considering Renpho and Actifit as alternatives to buy. Let us give you a summary which might help you in your purchase:1. None of the scales are accurate and gives indicative "ball-park" figures. So this device is as accurate as other. Don't get confused.. it's for the purpose of tracking your progress. If you are an athlete don't use these and go for a full body analyser that you get in professional gyms. This is perfect for fitness enthusiasts.2. All other scales are close to or above 5k. It is offering no additional special powers. Trust me, save your money.3. I trust Eufy brand. It makes amazing gadgets and haven't disappointed me in the quality or finish of this product.4. That said after seeing many western unboxing videos, I feel the cardboard packaging is different (looks cheaper but doesn't effect product quality in anyway).5. The app experience is detailed enough to give you good insights and helps you track progress and tweak your diets and exercise frequency in accordance with end goal.This is a value for money product. Get it as cheap as possible from any e-tailer, save your money and don't go behind fancy ones like Aria, Actofit, Renpho, Omron etc. Use it regularly. Most importantly, make us of the data and control your diet and exercise.

Sleek, slim,yet sturdy enough to weigh upto 100 kg and more. Is definitely a smart device , Bluetooth compatible (didn't show connected to : eufy notification in phone but the results got recorded in the eufy app directly, so I guess that's how the Bluetooth works for this. Runs on AAA Batteries (I love this part the most). Weights as much as a 15 inch big laptop, around 1.5kg to 2 kgs. Not very helpful in weighing your luggage before flying (not enough space for that, Hence inaccurate results). Cannot be used as kitchen scale, did not weight the bag of grapes 😝, I can't say about others pets but this scale did not read my pet's weight (a 3 year+ turtle). So I guess there's a minimum weight limit which I've not found yet, will update once I experiment that. But for humans to measure and record weight tis pretty neat 👍.

This was a replacement for my old Omron that became unreliable. It is very sleek , modern, and has very good body analytics, I use Anker products all the time in the US and find them very reliable, and so far this is the same. Some may find the fact that you have to sign up and use the Eufy app to access analytics a privacy problem, this is an individual choice.

Does good work with bit of bf variance. It uses empirical calculations, so not very accurate. Recommended if you are tight on budget, else go for inbody h2on

It came so amazingly packed. when I opened the package, there it was, the beauty. Looks wise, is amazing. But most important, this scale opened the truth about me, how unhealthy I was. Damn, the harsh truth. Thank you Eufy for opening my eye and making me work towards a very healthy lifestyle. Its made in China, so just make sure you sanitise it before you step on it. Overall a brilliant and product to have if you are going towards a healthy living and its very easy to use.

It became useless after 2 years of use, battery drains very quickly and turn only on if the battery is reinserted. It is showing 7kg weight even if there is nothing on it. Pure waste of money.

I have struggled with my weight for many years, but I finally began a regular workout and diet program last month. I bought this scale to record my body composition and how it changes. But this is a terrible terrible investment, and here's how I found out.Weighed myself this morning after a week of grueling exercise and eating healthy, to find I had gained weight. I had been drinking a lot of water so I thought maybe it was water weight, but this 'smart' scale tole me I had gained fat and lost muscle. I was really disappointed, and wondered if I should give up my quest to become fit and just accept my fate!Nevertheless, I decided to do a simple experiment. I drank a litre of water and weighed myself again. I didn't consume anything else, nor did I visit the bathroom between the two weighings. Lo and behold, it bumped up my fat and muscle percentage to account for the extra weight, and actually reduced water!TL;DR: this scale only measures your weight and just gives broad (and incorrect) estimates of body composition. The only thing 'smart' about it is the marketing, which makes you spend 4-5 times as much as you would spend on a weighing scale. Buyer beware!
