I was nervous about trying out a brush type straightener, as the wavy parts of my hair on the underside and back of my head are usually difficult for me to get straight with a regular straightener. I read lots of reviews on different products and this one looked like the best. I think this actually did a better job on those trouble areas than my regular straightener and I wasn't super frustrated by the time I was finished like I normally would be.I hate how much time it takes to get ready, so I don't usually style my hair at all (I wear it up for work) so I was looking for something that would be quicker and easier than what I already had access to. It took me around 40 minutes before I was satisfied and the straightener did shut off on me at 30 minutes. I like that it has that function for safety and it only took a second to be ready when I turned it back on. Because I seldom straighten my hair I do take a long time and I think it was probably faster than usual for me. Also, it was my first time using it so I had to get the hang of it. I do think I'll use this more often, even if I don't take the time to make my hair as straight as this.Yes, the beep is pretty loud but I don't have a sleeping baby so it's fine lol. I didn't use any heat protectant (I need to get some) and my hair feels smooth, doesn't seem frizzy (I have chronic baby hairs so it can get pretty frizzy looking). Looks like pictures, works as described, is a little heavy, swivel cord is great, clips are nice, didn't use the glove, great product.

This works very well and is super easy to use. This tames my frizzy, wavy, coarse hair and makes it smooth in one swipe at 450 degrees. However, it does not give that poker straight look that a straightener gives. I expected this and for just day to day taming of my frizz this is WAY faster and does the job. Like, seriously, I smoothed my entire head of thick hair in like 3 minutes.My only feedback to the manufacturer as a negative is, PLEASE get rid of the loud, high pitched BEEPS every time you turn it on, change the temp, it gets to temp, and turns itself off. Seriously, this is completely unnecessary and very annoying.

Okay. I’m not gonna lie. When I bought this, I went into it expecting it to not work. I have THICK, LONG, CURLY hair, and in my years I have used MANY a straightener to try to tame it and have 9 times out of 10 been disappointed. I finally found a flat iron that works amazing, but it takes me about an hour to fully straighten it, which normally is fine, but I tend to not want to go through the trouble when I’m traveling. I have a trip coming up at the end of the month, and after seeing lots of ads on Facebook and Instagram, decided it was time again to try the infamous “straightening hairbrush”. I tried one probably 3-4 years ago now and it didn’t work for me. I have two problem areas when I do my hair: I get lots of kinks, (especially in the back of my head) And my hair loooovesssss to frizz to oblivion. After doing some light shopping around; I decided upon trying this one. O.M.G. It ACTUALLY works!!!! I used it after showering and blow drying my hair, using both the heat setting and the ion setting (which I don’t think actually does anything? But never know). My hair was straightened in 27 minutes. WILD. I can’t get over it. I had put everything in place for like when I do my hair, threw a movie on, grabbed some snacks and was prepared to take lots of time. BOY was I shocked! I’m sitting here completely done in less than half the time!!! Is it perfect? No, while my problem areas are flawless (kinks and majority of frizz), the ends of my hair aren’t great. But honestly, I threw a little smoothing serum on them and it looks pretty good! And plus, it could also be my hair not having been cut in a WHILE due to quarantine haha. Overall; I’m so happy with this purchase. It’ll be perfect for my trip and when I’m in a rush! Definitely recommend!

I bought this for my 12 y.o. for Christmas. She was dying for a hair straightener, I have been reluctant because she has such beautiful healthy hair and some stylist can be hard to use. So I comprised and bought this. I am really shocked how well this has worked! Easy for a child to use and it's very cute. She loves it. I will say that hair doesn't stay straight all day but this is a great product for a preteen. She feels like a "teenager" now. Haha.

It made my hair fairly straight, but in my opinion I think that a regular hair straighter is better. This hair brush seems a bit intimidating to use when nearing the scalp. A regular hair straightener is better able to straighten the strands of hair that are very close to the scalp. Also, it didn't leave my hair as straight as a regular hair straightener. So it's okay product and gets the job done, but it's definitely not the best.

You never know what your going to get online and I was unsure about this when I purchased it. But the reviews were solid and the price was fair. Well my expectations were exceeded. This product is great! My 15 year old did her whole head in 20 minutes and she looked like she cane out of the salon! Her hair felt really lustrous and shiny too, the product smooths the hair, makes it shiny and did a great job, much better than the flat iron. Extra points for the protective glove. Very pleased!

The media could not be loaded.  Really it's amazing hair straightener; I have heavy and wavy hair which takes long time from me everyday.I couldn't imagine how much it's strong before using it.It's very easy to use and takes few seconds to reach the target temperature.It's better than the flat iron as it takes less time to give a amazing straight results and less efforts compared to flat iron.It's worthy to buy, I loved it and enjoyed it.

I bought this based on good reviews but did not know it was only meant to be used on dry hair. The instructions mention it in the box the brush arrived in. It's not what i wanted at this time as I needed something to dry and style my hair. I may keep it as an extra straightener just for humid, frizzy days. My one star rating is given only because there is no mention in the description on Amazon that it is solely fo dry hair styling. If I use it and like it I will add to this review.
