The most effective DIY tool I ever bought
Overgown evergreens have been clogging our gutters, even after trimming with needles overflowing the edge of gutters near the downspout.. I was tired of paying $250 for gutter cleaning every year so I bought this. Number 1 son performed the labor and it looks like we have an easy solution to clogged gutters going foward. So well constructed it could have been made by Lockeed. Absolutely no leaks from expandable joints or hose connections that were cinched only hand tight. My son was able to easily reach the top roof gutters in a two story colonial without strain or a ladder. It takes some getting used to as the water flow does produce a corresponding '"thrust", and on a 17 foot tube there is some 'english' to overcome, but he hooked the curved nozzel into the gutter and with slight downwards pressure he was able to 'walk' it down the length of the gutter flushing everything forward (after starting right at the downspout per the instructions). One suggestion is you prefill the tube with water as it cuts down on the air spitting out and makes contolling the Gutermaster easier when in position. Thanks again to my boy!

I was skeptical, but it did the job!
I admit I was skeptical that something like this would really do what it promised. It exceeded my expectations, and my gutter problem is solved. I have some very high second story gutters that are difficult to reach/clean because they are over a porch roof that's difficult to stand on because it's metal and slick even when it's dry out. I am nor able to reach all my gutters from the ground and the pressure is enough to get that black gunk out.Others have noted that they get wet because of the connections. I did get wet but expected it because of the reviews here. I'm in my 60s, I've been wet before, no harm done. Cleaning gutters is a dirty job anyway, but I'd rather be wet than covered in the black gunk. And, yes, it is a bit unwieldy when all stretched out, but I'm not sure you can get as good of a forearm workout any other way.Lastly, a word about how the thing ships. I knew it would be extra long. All collapsed it's about 6 feet long, but not especially heavy. I still would have expected a box or some sort of packaging other than a plastic sleeve. The sleeve doesn't seem to provide much protection during shipping but there was no damage done. Nevertheless, the sleeve was ripped and not covering the entire item when it arrived, and the shipping label was just stuck to the sleeve. This probably explains why the first one I ordered was lost and never arrived. I blame Amazon for this, not the seller.

Works well...steep learning curve
The gutter master is an overall good item to have around and I am very happy that I did get it as it saved me a ton of money with gutter cleaning. Here is my situation. Our condo has very tall gutters and there are a bunch of maple trees all around the building. In the spring the trees flower and the flowers end up in the gutters and clogs them up pretty badly. They form these plugs that totally clog up the downspouts.I tried using my Toro leaf blower with the gutter cleaning attachment. This worked on for the debris on the gutter itself but did not unclog the downspouts. I was also not able to reach the high gutters with this. The gutter master allowed me to get the water stream right into the opening of the down spouts and flush all that debris out.Is this easy to use. No. it took me a few days to get the right right technique and the right angles.Did i get wet: At first i was soaked. But once i figured out the right technique and right angles i was only splashed minimally. Is the item heavy: Empty no. Full of water Yes.Is the item man maneuverable: Low gutters Yes. High gutters. No. You have to spend time getting the technique down. There is quite a bit of opposing force from the jet of water coming out.Tips: Use a regular hose. Avoid the coil hoses as they will not give you all the water pressure you want.Position the tip with the water shut off at the valve. When you are ready slowly open the valve to let the water out.Shut off the water when you are ready to move the device.Hold on tight to it while water is flowing.Don't stand directly under the gutters. You will get soaked.Good luck all

Where was this all these years?
I have been climbing on my roof twice a year for 33 years with a hose to flush out my gutters. I have leaf guards, but live in the woods that is loaded with oak trees. Those little seeds get through the leaf guards, and block everything up. My friend loaned me his Gutter Master. I have a well so my pressure isn't like city water pressure. I didn't think this would work. WOW was I wrong. This thing blasted everything out of my gutters, and downspouts. If the downspout is blocked, just let this lay there a while. It will open it. Again I am on well water pressure. If it works here it will work anywhere. When I had it fully extended to the 16 feet it was a little heavy, but I attached an old weed trimmer strap and it worked well.

Guttermaster Pro
Tried to upload a photo for you Folks, but Amazon jacked it up. The plastic threaded Shut-off Valve on the unit is absolute garbage, but… a trip to Lowe’s, Home Depot or ACE Hardware and you can buy an All Metal Shut-Off Valve to modify the unit with very little effort. I absolutely love this unit! One thing nobody talks about is how much effort it takes to maneuver it back and forth when clearing high-up 2nd Story Gutters. It WILL wear you out! I’m 5’ 10” and weigh 200 lbs. when fully extended and under pressure this unit takes a lot of effort and control to hold it steady and conplete the flushing task. I would have given the review 4 stars if it wasn’t for the poor quality “Made in China” shut off valve. This product is a Life Saver in helping you to Safely clean those high-up gutters from the ground.
