I have had couple of cheap drones before. Lost them both. Could not control one of them and it went and struck on top of a tall tree :(... the other one i still have but even a little bit of wind blows it away and the pictures it takes are very mediocre. Hence i was looking for a drone which is a little heavy, takes nice pictures , is easy to handle and has a return to home button :)... since i dont want to loose one more drone .. it is like seeing you $$'s hanging on a tree :). This drone has it all and much much more. I was impressed as sson as i say the packing and as soon as i lifted the device. This is nothing like the cheap ones i have had before and it is very well priced for the various features it has. I would highly recommend it for any one who wants to fly a real drone with all features packed in and with a lower budget. I will post some videos and pics too.

For what they charge for it, This is an awesome drone. It is powerful, Cheap, compared to other models with the same features, and is amazing in Wind. It will hold its position very well in wind. I tried it yesterday in a gusty wind scenario, and it does very well holding it's position in gusty winds, but the camera will sit angled while the drone is fighting the wind. I was more impressed with the power it has to tackle wind. The return to home feature worked as designed. The instruction manual is not easy to comprehend when trying to use the drone. The Trajectory flight feature, I cannot get to work for the life of me. There is no customer service number to ask for help. The Follow me mode works great, just make sure you're not around trees, as this will swing around and easily hit a tree while following you. Best used in a place with no trees, I haven't tried it above the tree line yet, but It does show that it has limited follow distance. I just wish it was more clear on how to set up trajectory flight, which is one of the biggest features I wanted from this drone. I also want to know how to move the camera up and down. nothing tells me how to do any of this.***EDIT*** I'm downgrading my review to 3 stars. The drone is still a great drone, but Engineering wasn't throughly thought out when it comes to this drone. Instructions don't explain how to use all of the features on this drone to include camera angles and the worst part, The RTH out of range part of the drone, only works for flying away from home. When it loses range due to altitude, it will just plummet from the sky. Once back in range, it will try to recover the aircraft, but in a free fall tumbling to earth, it does not have enough time to recover and will plummet and crash to the ground. Luckily it survived the crash. Return to home only works laterally, not vertically. I contacted the company and the only response I got was what model drone do you have? And never heard back from them again. I would not recommend this drone. You will lose it as return to home does not work vertically. If you fly it too high, it will plummet to the ground and will not recover before hitting the ground. With Drones, you get what you pay for.

Well, I did not spend a lot of time on this and got it up in the air pretty quickly. Charge the batteries and go over the directions. I recommend you download the app and use that instead of the printed directions-- they are a little easier to read (larger font and pictures, even on my phone.) The set up was easy, although it may feel strange picking up the drone and making a circle (twice) but it sure seems to work. I got it up and felt very much in control very quickly. Tried out the auto takeoff and land- they're beautiful. Accidentally hit the button that makes the drone want to stay close to the phone and wondered about 'trim' and then realized what it was doing. When I turned off the device, I was back fully in control (and I can see this feature being sweet if I'm biking or walking cross country or something). The drone is remarkable for its ability to hover and hold position, even in a breeze. I need to spend a bit more time with the directions-- there are a lot of features here-- but I was able to make the camera move ON the done to see different angles from the same spot (and man, is THAT ever cool!) as well as taking photos and trying out a couple things. I have a lot of trees in my area and was reluctant to fly it there and only planned on a brief 'try it out' hop, but when I saw how stable its flight is, I went ahead and took it up very high (above the pine trees!). I'm not sure if I hit max height or not, but I didn't want to tilt my head back any longer! I've been shopping for a drone for a couple years now and finally pulled the trigger on this one. Looks like it was a good choice. I rated 4 instead of 5 because it's somewhat louder than I expected. One reason for picking it was the text stressing how quiet the motor is (I was hoping to use it around bird nest) but it seems about the same sound level as any other drone I've noticed. Maybe that's the unfamiliar guy talking or maybe I'm asking for too much. I think this baby is doing things a like a unit that costs 2X the money, and I'm very happy.
