DBG Women's Short Sleeve Scoop Neck Polyester Dress

This is a beautiful dress that is well made and very comfortable. The fabric is not too thin (as is the case in some dresses I've tried online) and the best part is that it doesn't wrinkle at all. I wore it straight out of the bag. The amazon size chart seems to be right, I ordered a large and it fit perfectly. I am big busted, so I am assuming women with a smaller top may find that this won't fit properly. Normally I wear a body suit under dresses to smooth out bulges (especially the ones on my back, ugh) but this fabric and pattern seemed to hide them well. For the photo I didn't wear the body suit. My measurements are 40" at the bust, 44" at the hips, and around 39" or 40" at the waist and as I said I ordered the Large. It looked better with a belt, so plan on accessorizing. :)

I thought this dress was going to be fantastic. First of all, you can tell the dress in the picture is colored in digitally. I didn't expect the blue dress I ordered to be exactly the same color as in the picture, but I expected it to be similar. The dress that arrived is in no way as vibrant or as dark as the royal blue dress in the picture. Second of all, the dress in all of the pictures on the website look smooth. The dress I received is smooth on the INSIDE, but almost seersucker on the outside. Also, the dress is too big. It seems the sizes are extremely inconsistent because a lot of people have described the dress as small, but the 2X I received was too big.

If you're busty, wider-shouldered- order a size up. 36DD bra size and most dresses with a stretch will fit me fine, however this is too tight in the upper body section. The fabric is a waffle knit - not smooth - which is nice as I purchased the floral patterned dress - thicker than expected but still light enough for warmer (not HOT) weather, colors are pretty and it doesn't stretch the pattern out and "fade" it where it does stretch. I am a large/size 12 so lets say a size L Sonoma dress fits you will well and you are busty, I would suggest the XL, more a juniory-cut on top, misses on the bottom, I am also hippy and the bottom part fit very nice - flattering. For comparison pics: This dress, size L vs> Sonoma (Kohls) size M - very similar cut/measurements. Will be returning for larger size.

I wore this dress for Mothers Day! Received many many compliments. Very sexy for us mature ladies. True to size and comfortable. I added a thin black belt to compliment my shoes.

This dress came in the mail while I was gone for Christmas, and finding it waiting for me was a nice surprise when I got home. It fits beautifully, which I was unsure of when ordering as I have a large bust and often have to order up a size or two to fit. I needn't have worried; this dress gives great coverage and doesn't leave you with the squished-in sports bra feeling or the "I'm going to fall out the top of this neckline if I move too much" feeling. The fabric is thick enough to be opaque, but thin enough that you're not going to be too hot wearing it. The length, at just below the kneecaps, is perfect in my opinion-- long enough to provide plenty of coverage for wearing at the office, but short and swingy enough that it would make a great party dress, too. I can't wait to wear it, and am already thinking of ordering another dress in a different color.One thing you might want to be aware of is that it doesn't come with the belt that pictured. Since I don't normally wear belts except to hold up pants, it didn't make a hoot of difference to me. But someone else might be more disappointed to find that out.

This dress had some good points and bad points. As for the good, The dress fit like a dream. It was the perfect length and the neckline wasn't too low. The cut hides my belly rolls well, so I can wear it without a body shaper. The dress is also easy to maintain, as the fabric does not require much ironing. This is definitely a good dress to wear to the office with a nice belt or jacket. The design is simple and cute, so with the right accessories, you could wear this dress several days in a row, and make it look like a different dress each time. As for the bad points, the fabric is quite thin, so look to wear it in the spring time or with leggings in the winter. With the design being so simple, and the fabric being so thin, it definitely wasn't worth the $35 price tag. I'm sure you can find a similar dress in a store for about $15-$20. Also, when I received the dress, it did not have any retail tags and there was no receipt in the bag. I found this to be a little odd.
