100X-2000X Microscope for Adults, Professional Biological Optical Microscopes with Prepared Slides School Home Lab Education Gifts for Kids Students Beginners

Was asked to pick out a microscope for under $100 for a gift for my nephew. This seemed like a good quality deal. When I actually saw it in person and got to use it, I decided to get one for myself. It’s high quality and functions at a high level. There were no instructions on how to use it and it comes with glass instead of plastic slides. So I spent about 15 minutes talking my nephew through it. He had been unable to on his own and had broken a slide (always remember to start your table high then focus down and lower the table all the way down before changing magnification). Since then he’s been looking at mold and hairs and loves it. I love knowing that he has something of good quality that works really well and will last a long time. Can’t wait until mine arrives.

Great product for beginners.

I love this microscope so much. I bought 2 before this and returned them. The first claimed to be 1000x, but the magnification sucked on it. The second didnt have LED screen and i hate looking through the tiny monocular scope. This one has the ability to have LED (your phone) and is awesome because you can record what you see too. The added phone attachment worked well. Although i had to hold the phone upside down or the weight of my huge plus size phone would weigh it down so much it blocked half my view. Holding it upside down fixed this. So 5 out of 5 stars. excellent magnification. I can see one celled protozoa's and bacteria and algae with ease.

My kiddo bought it. He’s in a microscopic photography class. We all end up using it, looking at all kinds of things! Great for my family to get our faces out of our phones and lessen some interesting things. The kit with the slides and accessories was a huge bonus. We love it.

We used this to look at several common items and before we knew it they were looking for more things “to see up close.”

I bought this thinking it would be comparable to the OMAX microscope I really wanted. While this is sturdy and functions, it’s difficult to focus on the highest magnification (in fact I haven’t been able to see anything at all with the 40x lens. We were able to see clearly with the other 2. However, the lenses are dirty and little specks of dust are visible that I can’t figure out how to wipe off. (Lenses and slides). The microscope came with a bunch of lab tools, but no manual or explanation of what they are. One has a razor blade inside, with no warning that it’s there. It looks like it might be for breaking glass for slides? Or cutting Pipettes? The thing that attaches your phone isn’t really functional. It only works if you hold it. You get a clearer view without the attachment just holding it yourself. It’s going to work for my kids science lessons 6th grade and under), but I’ll probably end up splurging on the better one by highschool. I wish I just bought it now.

The accessory for the mobile phone does not sit properly enough for the phone to stay put and properly focus. Other than that, it’s as advertised.

This was used by a public school for science class. Very positive feedback. Bright objective fields and decent resolution at higher magnification. No issues so far after several months.
