ShoyeidoPalo Santo Incense, 35 CT

Nothing beats a fresh stick of palo santo wood. But, when I need something more practical and want an extended burn time, these stick are amazing! Shoyeido brand is legendary for their quality, but this product is even nicer than I was expecting.

This incense has a delightful scent, like Palo Santo, but with something myrrh-ish added for a little sweetness. I took off one star because the box I received was bent in the middle and every single stick was broken. Amazon has been getting shoddy with their storage and delivery services. I am soooo tired of getting damaged items.

Not much to say here. It burns easily and slowly. It exudes a wonderful smell which is not too strong (which is why I love Japanese incense).

I must admit that this incense blend really took me by surprise. I was expecting a steong palo santo smell, but it is actually a mild scent. It is sweet and creamy while it's burning, but afterwards the smell of palo santo clearly lingers in the room. I also really appreciate that these sticks are made of natural materials. There are no synthetic chemicals. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious and currently exploring the never ending world of fine incense sticks.

What makes these great is that you light them and that's it— like most incense.Pleasant scent for stick incense, especially if you have never smelled actual smoking richly transcendent Palo Santo wood sticks.This will do the trick for most people. I'm gifting mine and buying more real Palo Santo wood sticks, even if they don't usually stay burning after your starter flame is blown out.That all said, most incense lovers will enjoy these well enough.

I love the smell of Palo Santo. I have several ounces of the actual sticks. I like to make the whole house smell of Palo Santo but it's not always convenient to have a giant smoking stick to walk around with.Enter the Shoyeido Palo Santo!This incense doesn't have a core which means that the entire stick is the incense, there is no wood core to mix with the smell of the incense.The smell itself is very powerful (just like the real thing) and smells pretty much spot on with the real thing!Because of how I use it, I've had to snap the sticks in half because the room I use it in is too small for the amount of smoke/scent an entire stick produces.I love the Shoyeido line and this Palo Santo specifically has been replicated so well, that I like it just as much as the real thing!

I only just recently discovered Shoyeido incense. I'm so impressed with this brand's quality and the integrity of their natural ingredients. So far, Palo Santo is my favorite.This has the scent of true palo santo (a nuance of burning wood and essential oil), but softened a little by the other ingredients. The box states: Palo Santo, Cinnamon, Benzoin, and other spices. The other ingredients don't overwhelm the clean, woody dryness of palo santo at all and I feel it gives it a really calming dimension. I find pure palo santo a little bit harsh and linear. I don't like sweet or heavy incense and this has a wonderful, warm balance that I really enjoy. Simple. Deep. Cleansing. Grounding. Soothing.I'd be quite happy if my home smelled like this all the time. These sticks are great value and are bigger than the Magnifiscents line.

Shoyeido incense is my favorite brand because it is not too perfume-y and heavy, and their Palo Santo blend is my all time favorite. While it does not smell exactly the same as burning a stick of Palo Santo (which also smells amazing), it incorporates the calming notes of Palo Santo into their blend of incense to make something truly relaxing and refreshing. Afterward, the scent lingers in the air, but in a subtle way, unlike some other varieties, such as sandalwood or patchouli (which I also like on occasion, but they are heavier smells). Whenever I burn it, the smell immediately makes me want to stop and take deep slow breaths. (Honestly I would burn it all the time if I wasn't worried I'd become desensitized to the smell! That's how much I enjoy it!!)

Great scent, wish I could buy in larger quantities, 35 sticks is not enough.
