He was on his way to be deported and she was about to wed Charles Gardner III (Alan Mowbray), a middle-aged millionaire she doesn't really love. So when Patricia decides to marry Bob instead, her change of mind sparks a series of comic misunderstandings that leave these two lovers heartbroken and alone. Tonight and Every Night - (1945) - Color - 92 Minutes - Not RatedStarring: Rita Hayworth, Lee Bowman, Marc Platt This moving picture of life in war-time London is a tribute to those enduring the nightly bombing raids that strafed the city, and Hayworth is radiant as an American showgirl in London. Victor Saville (Goodbye, Mr. Chips) produced and directed the film, which co-stars Lee Bowman, Janet Blair and Leslie Brooks. Disc Two Down to Earth - (1947) - Color - 101 Minutes - Not RatedStarring: Rita Hayworth, Marc Platt, James Gleason It's heaven on earth in this delightful musical comedy sequel to the enormously successful Here Comes Mr. Jordan. She sets off for Earth to set the record straight and the results are more than a - musing. Miss Sadie Thompson - (1953) - Color - 91 Minutes - Not RatedStarring: Rita Hayworth, Jose Ferrer, Aldo Ray The fourth screen version of the famed Somerset Maugham story details the arrival of a free-spirited woman to Samoa, where she naturally arouses the interest of the Marines based there (especially sergeant Aldo Ray), as well as the wrath of the fire-and-brimstone preacher (Jose Ferrer) who wants her sent away immediately. Curtis Bernhardt (A Stolen Life) directed the film, which was originally released in 3-D.

Good Hayworth collection
Let me say the quality of all films are great and are just like getting it from Sony Pictures. Three of these films are from a Sony Picture DVD release called, The Films of Rita Hayworth. There isn't any bonus features, no subtitles and the only audio is English. Overall this is a good collection and I would recommend it.

Too Much Singing and Dancing, Not Enough Drama!
I saw Rita Hayworth in Gilda years ago and I never forgot it. A dramatic, unforgettable film.I was hoping the movies in this collection would be just as entertaining. Unfortunately, they weren't for me. Too many musical numbers (on and on...) not enough story lines. The movie: Miss Sadie Thompson was IMO, just a remake of the older film: Rain, starring Joan Crawford, in a slightly different setting. After two movies, I gave up.I'm going to find a copy of Gilda and give it another viewing. That's the Rita, I loved to see! She was just dazzling in that movie.
