Game changer for me
This is a great product. Being able to steam things in the microwave has been a game changer for me. I steam potatoes all the time. The capacity is good—I have steamed four Yukon Gold potatoes at once, and it can probably hold almost twice that amount. It’s quicker and easier than steaming food in a pot on the stove and is easier to clean. It works great except it can be a little tricky to snap it shut. The trick is to push down on the red flap as you snap it closed. It feels reasonably well made (it is plastic) and I hope it is durable. I’m concerned about the locking flaps breaking off eventually but I’ve been using it for a few weeks now with no problems. Even so, I think it would work fine without the locking flaps.I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Microwave reliable cooking bowl with sealing lid and handle!
This locking lid bowl has many uses! Quick soup heater? Yup. Cook veggies? Yup. Well-made with excellent lid and seal mechanism. No odor absorption material seems to work well. Color-fast red color is stain resistant even to tomato sauces that stain most microwave cookers horribly. Not tastes left over from cooking session to cooking session. Size is just right for a lot of different cooking needs. Freezer to microwave works great! I like this companies products. This is the third thing I've bought from these folks. All have been money well spent.

NOODLE bowl made in New Zealand. Sturdy, durable
Made in New Zealand. Awesome noodle bowl. Well made and durable. Has click on locks to hold the top in place. Has a click open vent cover to vent steam.. Nice handle to grab from the microwave. Holds 31.7 ounces Cool to touch. Have used it several times as a noodle bowl and heating soup. Sturdy container. Easy clean. Locks do help to keep cover on so no more splatter in microwave. Highly recommend. Went back today and ordered all of the Sistema bowls available seems to be 6 so far

Handy for heating up, not so much for carrying it around in a lunchbox.
Edit: I have since earlier, filled this thing up with water and then turned it on its side and shook it like I wanted candy to fall out. No water leaked. I am not sure why it leaked on me before, perhaps positioning of the lid was an issue or maybe it was because the cup was just out of the microwave and heated. But at least when cold, the water test did not leak.-----Nice little bowl for making the smaller 2 cup instant soups, but don't expect to fit all 4 cups in there. You can see from the picture that 2 cups fills this to significantly, and it's almost too much when you have it on a rapid boil even with the lid on. Soup spouts out the vent hole and gets everywhere. That being said, I added kluski noodles to my Lipton soup mix and tossed it in the microwave. It took the standard few minutes to get to a boil, and then I put it in for another 3 minutes at the boil. Noodles were fine. Minimal clean up due to the lid. It still did a little spurting due to how "full" the container was but i'm not sure if it was the fullness or the combination of the soup mix. (You know how certain things on a stove top boil over if you just look at it funny? Like that.)As for the lid, it is not a perfect seal, and I don't think it was designed to be. It's a lid for keeping your stuff from exploding inside the microwave, and for that purpose it works well. Don't throw your stew or egg drop soup in it and expect it not to leak if it gets tipped over. It will. Keep one at work for being able to heat stuff up without being "that guy/gal" that exploded their lunch all over the communal microwave? This would work well.Pros: it has a handle. Praise the gods of handles-- no, but seriously. I love handles. I love handles to carry hot boiling things out of microwaves without doing the hot potato dance.Mine was blue. I love blue. Score.Works for packet of Lipton chicken noodle soup (just put a paper towel under it in case the vent allows a little too much water out the top)The lid works for what I think it was designed for-- keeping the spatter out. It isn't sealed though, which is my only complaint on what would make this thing better.Cons: Not sealed, frustrating if you want to port something in your lunch bag and save a step of pouring it into the cup to use it.Not (quite) big enough to prevent a little boil over for 2 cups of soup. (This may depend on what soup you are making. I have yet to try Mrs Grass or Knorr vegetable soup mix)It says 4 cups. 2 cups + soup mix + a handful of noodles (which did not raise the level) is pictured below. You can be the judge on if you think it "really" holds 4 cups. My opinion is this holds 2 cups of working/to be cooked soup. Now, if you are just heating up something that is not primarily liquid, this may not even be an issue, so please take with a grain of salt.Overall, this is still a useful microwaveable bowl. The handle makes me want to hug it to death. It comes with a warning not to cook oily stuff like bacon in it... (who cooks bacon in a bowl in the microwave? seriously? Maybe they mean bacon-potato soup?)
