It works!
After owning this for a few weeks, I can say that it really and truly works. My baby girl's skin was cracked, dry, and even bleeding at 6 months. We had moved to a new home and could smell the chlorine in the water, and her skin problems appeared around the same time. The chlorine smell goes away with this filter and her skin is so soft now. It is healing! The doctor had diagnosed her with eczema that is now magically gone! Hooray!

Sons hair back to baby soft
I never write reviews, but this product is great!! We just moved to Point Mugu, CA from Washington state and the water here in CA sucks big time!! My 20 month old son after giving him a bath here's the first time his hair was so corse feeling and felt awful and I just washed it. So I found this product and love it!! After the very first use I noticed a remarkable improvement in his hair and skin and the water no longer had the chlorine smell. My hands are even soft from giving him his bath. Great product!!

Poor design
This filter doesn't work. It floats in the bathtub for 1 hour and does absolutely nothing - chlorine smell still strong. I tried it on the faucet - it doesn't even catch water (it kind of roll of it). I have New Wave Shower filter and also 10 Stage Water filter - they truly remove chlorine. Save your money and buy some other bath filter. Look for the one that actually catches water from faucet, not just floating in your tub. I returned this filter and shopping for the better design.

I definitely recommend it, but a few things could be improved.
I do "love it," but I'm not giving it the 5 star rating because it could be a little better. The great:-It does remove chlorine from bathwater. I've noticed an obvious difference!-It has already lasted me about 6 months and it's still got a lot of life left in it. I take baths about 2-3 times a week.-Because it's a ball, it doesn't only fit to a faucet like some of the other models. I often have to boil a large pot of water on the stove to help get my bathwater hot enough, and I can easily stick this in the pot of water and then return it to the bath faucet. The "needs improvement":- It can be challenging to get it to hang from my faucet so that the water hits it.- It would work better if it were at least an inch larger. I can get it so all the water from the faucet flows through it if I don't turn the stream up to full blast, but it takes some effort to set it up so it catches all the water.- It works best when you also swirl it around in the bathwater after the tub is full. The problem with that is I like to add my salts, soap, tea, kelp, vinegar, or whatever else I want to throw into the tub while the tub is filling up. I can't use this in the bath water when I've added stuff to it.

Meh. Just meh.
This item has really just become a pain to use, and I've pretty much stopped using it. Having to wait 8 minutes with a cranky toddler is no fun for anyone! I do feel it does an adequate job of filtering the water, but I would recommend getting a filtered shower head instead--more filtering, less waiting. That is what I have started doing now, is filling the tub from the shower head. It doesn't take that long, (much less than 8 minutes) and it gets rid of more nasties.

maybe part of the solution
I'm just not sure what to think. It seems to be taking away the heavy chlorine smell, but I wonder how much it's really doing. After a couple of months it's getting a little beat up looking, which is expected, but I wonder if I will need to replace it every so often. If that's the case then it becomes a whole new quarterly bill to pay. I don't think it's junk like a couple of people said, but I don't know if the investment is worth it. To use with a baby as advertised, I would also fill the baby bath using a shower filter head just to be safe. I think a lot of customers would feel comforted by more independent testing and a stronger argumentative pitch by the company showing evidence.

Enviro splish splash
All the reviews I read about this product are true, it works great. We have well water and we have to treat it and we definitely have calcium build up. Even though we have a whole house filter, and a filter on the showers, the bath water was a concern for me for that there wasn't another layer of filtration. With this cold weather, my 2 year old was having very dry skin problems and since using this her eczema patches are gone. Her skin isn't blotchy anymore either. And interestingly she loves the little pouch at the tub faucet, she has even hugged it. She doesn't try to mess with it either. She enjoys that it is part of the tub fixture and handles it with care even. Now I have dry skin too, and have been diagnosed with hypo sensitive skin allergies. I am always itching this time of year. I have used it myself in the tub and have tried it at the shower level, although a little more challenging since I have to hold it in place, but it has helped my skin a lot at this time too. I didn't think it would work, but it does.

Works great!
My Husband takes more baths than I do and he loves this. I don't use a scientific device to test the efficiency of this but I can and will say the baths don't have a scent of chlorine at all now, and our water supply has a very strong smell of chlorine normally. Bath water feels "softer" and more enjoyable with this filter. Money well spent!

... working by removing the chlorine but it is so easy to use - just put it over the tap
I'm not sure if this is really working by removing the chlorine but it is so easy to use - just put it over the tap. It's the only thing I have found so far to filter the bath water.
