Knit Cord Maker
This tool is AMAZING!!! I’ve tried others on the market and this one gives me the best outcome. It’s weighty and sturdy. It has a clamp to adhere to a tabletop. My only criticism is that the clamp could have been thicker.

Easy to use and gives a great knitted cord
Love the slick design and ease of use. I just looked up for videos to start and it was super easy. Very nice results.

Learning curve & great results
This is the best version of this machine I've found to date. There is a definite learning curve to using one of these lil crank machines as I call it, but this one actually works pretty well once you get used to using it. I think the biggest or most common issue I have found while using it is that the weight is not heavy enough, otherwise this is very well put together, great quality product design.

Tension & clamping problems solved. Machine works great!
First problem was the tension of the yarn, the little hooks don't provide any help. Solved that with a simple elastic hair tie right over the yarn and it's perfect. The clamp also tended to wiggle or slip even at the tightest I could manage but that was mainly due to the material of the table I had. I cut out some circles of the non slip pads you use to dry dishes/put under rugs so they don't move and bam, I haven't had a problem since.

Flimsy and very disappointing
Needles are flimsy, not capable of knitting the range of yarn indicated , no video instruction, printed instructions inadequate and indecipherable. Over many years, I have had many knitting machines of all sizes and gauges, and 3 different I cord knitters. The only time I ever had a problem with dropped stitches on a cord was with a very cheap knitter 13 years ago. To my mind, the latch hook needles on that particular machine were sturdier than the ones on this machine! The latches worked a LOT more consistently during knitting. Though I tried a variety of weights of smooth yarns indicated as appropriate, it repeatedly dropped stitches and though it says good for up to 4.5 yarn thickness, the machine completely bound up on size 4 Did not try 4.5. I bought this because it said it would knit soft wire. I did not bother to attempt this as I felt it would be a waste of good .925 silver wire. I expected more based on price and UK manufacture. Also it would have been nice if the instructions were in English. The photos aren’t helpful. I don’t think this machine would be fun for kids.

Can be temperamental
It works fine. Choice of yarn is key. Definitely a learning curve, but once you get it, works great.

WELL BUILT & USEFUL
I think this is a pretty good product in comparison to others of its type. However, I had trouble with the needles not opening to allow the yarn to knit. I finally wiggled the closing part back and forth gently to loosen it up. It worked better after that. I used a table that has wine glass holders to fasten it to the table so it fully engages the wood for a very stable, won't fall off attachment. I used a small wine glass in a second corner to hold a small skein of yarn so it would flow in a straight line. To the seller, this is a decent product, but the packaging was very flimsy. The carton lightweight and loose. The sack it was in, not even padded. It was pretty banged up when it got here. I'd suggest sturdier exterior packaging. Why risk damage?
