These things are great!
I have an ADT Pulse security system. I had two older versions of these light modules in my house. They work great, they're easy to add to the system and a wonderful feature when traveling out of town. I ordered one of these newer lamp modules when the dimmer feature was added. After testing it, I immediately ordered two more or them. I love having the ability to set the dimmer level. I can change the light intensity using my cell phone, the touch screen or remotely on the computer. When programming the dimmer in the ADT Pulse website, you can select what percentage you want the lights to turn on at or set them to light up at the last setting. I'm military and have to be up by 0430 every morning. I have two of these modules set up to light up my living room at wake up and then turn off automatically 15 minutes later after I walk out the door. I also have them set to turn on at 50% near sun down and turn up to 70% after sun set. I use the older ones to turn on/off the lights to my aquariums now. I love these lamp modules, I own a total of 5 now. The three with the dimmer option are just great.

Ok
Works good but the lights brightness goes up and down, that's annoying.

These work extremely well for multiple purposes
Day-to-day I have two of these hooked up in my house. One is in the bedroom connected to a table lamp, the other in the living room connected to a standing lamp.Obviously you need a z-wave controller to make use of these, but I'll save that review for the controller.I have many z-wave switches ranging from on-off outdoor switches, on-off in-wall switches, dimmable in-wall switches, and these two of these dimmable plug-in modules. The plug-in modules are by far the most versatile, so much so that I'll probably buy another one or two of these to hook up to more lamps. These become all the more handy at Christmas as I use them to control the lights on the tree as well as some illuminated garland around my windows. Having programmable switches is great for safely turning off the lights at night, and ensuring they're back on again in the morning. Having dimmable switches is even better so you can modify the light output to go along with any other dimmable lights, for example: "movie mode". When I'm watching a movie at night I turn all living room lights off apart from the tree and garland and then dim both down to around 20%. This leaves a festive but non-intrusive amount of light in the room to allow movies to be enjoyed without distraction.

GE Dimmable Lamp Module with Z-Wave
I installed couple of these as a tester before purchasing more. So far it has been working as desired. Here's my feedback and observation so far after a week's use1. Built and looks are good.2. One of the outlets is a Z-Wave outlet and another one is always on pass thru3. Pairing with Z-wave is really simple and takes less than a minute for complex setup and few seconds for a simple remote. If you have a Harmony 890/1000 remote you will be able to use it without any gateway as well.4. Z-wave outlet let's you Dim the lights including letting you control from your remote or on the module5. Load Sense feature, which is disabled by default, can be enabled to let you use it without any remote or Z-wave interface. You can simply power-on your Lamp and module will sense the load of the lamp and simply powers it on. This is a good feature case you have a not so technically savvy person at home or have younger kids or even with guests - do it the traditional way.6. It does not seem GE makes it and seems a OEM brand. Other brands are also selling, like homepro, that seems very much alike but I have not used others yet.7. Can be combined with several scenes to watch TV and dim lights. Before going to bed or leaving the house - a single click/buttin will ensure that everything is powered off.Cons:1. I really wish that both the outlets were Z-wave2. Little complex to enable Load Sense3. Manual is just piece of paper ready to be recycled specifically advanced configuration and commands4. Tech support is technically challenged and you may feel that you may know more than them. By the time they get back to you may have already resolved the problem just with the help of your own skills or or just by Google.Other Thoughts:1. Z-Wave outlet: This is a Lamp Module with Dimmer and should not be used for constant current required devices like an "Air Conditioner" or coffee maker.2. Does work with Dimmable CFL although at "very low" settings you notice flickering effect but that is no fault of either devices. This is how CFL is supposed to behave (for now)3. There is a Soft fuse instead of wired traditional fuse - good for resets case something goes wrong but I am little skeptical for now.Hope this will help you find what you're looking for.

Poor reliability - Short Lifespan
Module became intermittent after 11 months (alerts received of the form, "The Lamp Dimmer reported a Malfunction at 10:06 pm on Sunday, August 24 2014.") and the Z-Wave module fully failed in 14-months. During the intermittent failure phase, unplugging and re-plugging in would typically restore function for a short period.Note that this dimmer is the only Z-wave device failure of the many devices we installed around the same time. I am not too surprised as the GE products from Jasco have failed young for us several times before (e. g., GE SunSmart 3-Way Digital In-Wall Timer).

Works ok.
I have this plugged into a lamp. I cannot turn the lamp on and off and still have the lamp communicate with the module. Supposedly you can buy a remote control for $65 that would allow you to change the settings and would allow the lamp to turn on an off and the module would be able to recognize that.I like the module and I would give it 4 or even 5 stars, but the lack of control is a joke and the fact that I have to buy a remote that is twice as much as the module itself to change settings is a bigger joke.
