Casper Sleep Waterproof Mattress Protector, King, White

Let me start by saying I do not own a Casper mattress. I have a regular mattress with a 3" memory foam topper. I have been using a cheap waterproof mattress pad for several months but got tired of waking in a puddle of sweat since it did not breathe. I decided to purchase this premium protector based on the reviews available online.The fit, and thickness of this protector is outstanding! I love the way is holds my mattress topper in place and my bed looks sharp after it is made. The bad news is I did not like sleeping on the surface and it took me one night to figure that out. I didn't sweat so I accomplished the breathing that I wanted but it felt like a hard surface to sleep on so I did not rest well.Next day I purchased the Serta Luxury Knit Mattress Pad from my local Sam's Club to place on top of the mattress protector and I have the softness that I want. Yes, I now have three toppers on my mattress but everything is fitting snug and I did not sweat last night.This protector may feel different on a Casper mattress and you will not need the additional pad. Just be prepared that you might lose you luxury softness when you add this protector alone.

I have a thinner profile mattress and it is getting very hard to find items like this that fits. My mattress is 10 inches high and this mattress protector fits better than I expected. It has enough material to fit a taller mattress to. It wraps under the mattress far enough to keep it in place. And it will also fit a taller profile mattress with no problem. It has a very nice feel to it. It has even improved my sleep. A bit pricey but I think it is worth it. My last protector lasted over 20 years. I expect this one do the same.

I've gone through many mattress protectors in the past few months. Some had stuff spilled on them and had to be disposed of (which is their purpose, glad I bought them), some ripped, and some I just threw away because they were crap.Basically what I've noticed is that the cheap crappy mattress protectors are made of plastic/vinyl, and every time you roll over it goes crunch crunch. In addition, they smell like plastic, and you go to sleep every night worrying you are breathing in some toxic chemical. To me those are huge turn-offs.This mattress protector passes both of those tests (crunch and smell), and it is actually comfortable, so it gets 5 stars. I can't speak to how well it protects the mattress, since I haven't spilled anything on it yet, but I'll update the review when I do.

I love these mattress protectors. My kids have accidents frequently on their beds (which are also Casper), and the mattress stays dry every time. Not only do they work well but they are also comfortable & quiet. There’s no plastic to make noise. It’s like it’s not even there. I bought several for all my beds. I also heed the care instructions so they can last me as long as possible. It’s worth the price to me if you’re sick of those cheap plastic protectors that don’t last very long, like I was.

Not breathable *at all*. The waterproof feature seems to only exacerbate any hot sleeping tendencies... so much so that both my partner and I woke up in pools of sweat every night since owning. It also squeaks with any movement. Returning immediately, unfortunately. Not worth the money unless you tend to get cold while sleeping.

Wished I loved it but honestly I don’t. It’s too rough to sleep on and the material will get caught on anything specially if you have rough skin. The sheet will rub so much that there’s balls on the cover already and it’s onlyBeen used for a week. If I didn’t use it I would definitely have returned it because I don’t want to keep sleeping on this mattress protector.

Waste of money could have gotten a cheaper one and provably would have been more effective

Very Soft, no noise at all but I've never sweated more in my life- Had to return. I have to say though that this is my first ever waterproof cover experience, so maybe I'm just not used to them.
