Works like a charm
I needed something to read SSD hard drives as I recycle e-scrap. The price was really great on this. The size is perfect to store in a travel case and take it on the go. It's perfect for traveling as it really takes up very little room. This was very easy to use, plug and play style and read the hard drive with ease and speedy. It's made pretty well too, not cheap plastic.this is a great item to have to read the SSD's for recycling, home or travel use.

Works like a charm
I had a bunch of pictures I wanted to retrieve from an old laptop that was broken and would no longer boot up. Popped out the hard drive, plugged it into my working laptop with this handy connector, and voilà! All the files were still there. As long as the problem is somewhere else in your computer and your hard drive isn't corrupted this will work great.

Sata to USB works great
Worked well with my Samsung Evo, blazing fast speeds and quickly move over my files. Might keep it to use my old SSD as an external drive

Perfect for adapting external or internal SSD or HDD through USB. best with USB2.0 or3.0. Better than expected throughput. I use it for installing new drives and creating disc images. Keeps me out of the inside of PC.

Good quality, Works well, Not for higher power drives
This is a good adapter. It's easy to power (doesn't require external power jack), doesn't have issues slotting on the connector, and is very compact.However, it probably won't work with most full drives, only smaller slim drives. Anything that requires a decent amount of power will entirely fail to work with this one.

Works great! Easy to use. Just plug in and go.
Works great. Easy to clone existing hard drive by plugging new one in using this adapter connected to a USB port. Then, after removing original failing drive, I took it out of PC, then used this adapter, which plugs into the USB port, to sanitize/wipe the old hard drive. Very pleased. Works with SATA port hard drives.

Boring - in a Good Way
Worked uneventfully on windows - detected and ran off of a system driver with no issues. It worked even on USB 2.0 (although obviously slowly) and at the expected speeds on a 3.0 port.
