I have a cat with urinary tract inflammation and this product was recommended because it contains PreForPro. She has been taking 1/3 capsule a day for two weeks as part of her treatment program. So far, so good.

Works great for keeping UTI away from the cat!

I hope to return this PreBiotic. I continue to have indigestion about 20 minutes after I take it. Others should try it, as it is reasonably priced and everyone’s digestive system is different.

This product only contains "PreforPro" as the active ingredient. "PreforPro" is a blend of 4 bacteriophages that attack and consume specific harmful bacteria in the GI tract, thereby vastly increasing how many of the 'good bacteria' ingested along with it get established and form colonies. You can look up PreforPro and find great info online.None of the 'other ingredients' FEED intestinal bacteria; PreforPro doesn't either. It simply diminishes negative bacteria that interfere with the 'good' species getting established. I'm not saying it isn't a GREAT product, but the ad should be truthful and not imply this also contains prebiotics that actually FEED probiotics. It's a 'prebiotic' in that it enhances probiotic establishment and growth; not because it actually 'feeds' good bacteria. For best results take this along with a good multi-strain probiotic, preferably one that's encapsulated to dissolve in the intestines after leaving the stomach. Stomach acids reduce or eliminate efficacy of many probiotic strains which is why many higher-end companies use capsules that won't dissolve in the acid conditions of the stomach.
