Herb Lemongrass Conventional, 1 Bunch

This lemongrass was fresh and flavorful. When sticking the root end in a little water for a few weeks, it regenerated enough to plant.

This is what made my Tom Ka truly taste like Tom Ka

Not as described and pictured. I thought I was getting a "bunch" of the bottom yellow part of the lemon grass (like in the picture) without the top woody part but instead got one long stalk with the tough green layer for $.50 which is ok pricewise as Safeway sells them for $1/stalk, but I wish I knew what I was getting upfront when I ordered it.

Seemed old. Not very fresh. Even smashed, did not provide much flavor. I think next time I'll go into whole foods and pick it myself.

Lemon grass was not fresh when I received them. Looks like they chose to get rid of the old stuff to make money. I am happy.

Having ordered 10 “bunches”, I received 10 lemongrass stalks. Look at my photo and that is what I was charged at $0.45 for each, rotten and moldy. So disappointed at Whole Foods

The lemon grass was fine, but the "bunch" of lemon grass was a single stalk.

Not Fresh, Did not have much Lemon flavor, Overpriced
