I was wonderfully surprised a the quarter-thick bunch of fresh dill that I received in my order! Wow, we're going to make a lot of dill dishes now! I only expected a small bunch of fresh dill (since that's all you get from other online sources)--not the case here! It's also August 1, 2020, so maybe it's peak season. I will certainly be ordering this again from Whole Foods!

I don’t know why I keep buying this instead of dried dill, it’s always wilted and even yellowish by the time the grocery delivery arrives. Occasionally if fresh it’s good in egg and tuna salad.

When I first smelled this dill, I was unsure if it was even good. It looked OK (maybe a bit thicker than usual). When I tasted it, I thought it tasted as off as it smelled. However, my husband disagreed with me, but then again I'm the cook and I usually know what's good and what's bad. The quantity was also pretty small.The week before I bought Italian parsley from Whole Foods and that was extremely disappointing, too. It was like parsley from a plant that had gone to seed. I had only ever seen parsley that shape in my herb garden (when it went to seed). That tasted bad, as well. I don't believe I'll be buying any herbs from Whole Foods again, unless I can scruitinize it before buying.
