Sturdy Chair Replacements
I like the replacements. I measured but they are a little short on the seat. However, the biggest problem was that the end of the seat where you have the piece of wood on the sides, the material is a little too bulky to slide in the wood.That is why, if you look at the photo, I could not slide it all the way to the front due to the bulkiness of the material and stitching. My suggestion is measure correctly and keep those wooden sticks from your previous chair canvas. All in all they are perfect for the price and look great!

(white) is natural canvas not bright white
Exactly what I wanted. Easy replacement of 20 year old fabric in my vintage directors chair. Fits perfectly. I used my old dowels. Sturdy canvas fabric matches the old. Well constructed. The (white) color in parentheses is a natural canvas white not bright white. that's what was in the chair previously and matches it's mate perfectly. If you are not handy or have never done crafts you may have trouble getting the seat dowels back into the grove, but if you have ever used a tool before you will have no problem. Just use common sense. Received shipment next day.

Fits good - Fabric a little thin
I always read the reviews before buying a new product and was concerned that these chair cover replacements wouldn't fit properly since they didn't for quite a few buyers. So I was happy when they fit perfectly...and in fact were slightly large. This is good as they will shrink slightly after the first wash. My new concern is that they won't last as long as the last set as the fabric is quite a bit thinner than the old covers which came with the chair when I bought it over 30 years ago (the seat just recently ripped out which made me have to buy a new set - they don't make things like they used to!) However, if it only lasts 15 or so years, I guess that will have to do. (I would give them 5 stars if not for this.

not quite canvas....
great color and fit. not nearly as sturdy as the original canvas. however; this will not be used in a consistent manner, so they should last.
