Tablets to help Puerto Rico have safe drinking water.
I ordered these tablets to be sent to Puerto Rico, so people affected by the hurricane could have clean water. A friend's son in law was going and taking donated and bought supplies with him. Jet Blue made sure he got on one of the few flights, since he was taking so much product, and allowed a very large amount of boxes to go with him. Each weighing $50. Such an amazing act of selflessness. The product arrived as stated, and I've been having problems with Amazon deliveries, as where I moved...we don't get our regular mail, there is community mail boxes. I would get a card, stating I had to come get my boxes. Between Amazon sending via UPS instead of USPS, and the amazing things the tablets I purchased were going to do...I was just so impressed. Great water purification tablets for hiking
We use Aquatabs when we're hiking in the Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina so that we don't need to carry so much water with us. The waters in the mountain streams here are really clean and clear but we worry about getting rid of any bacteria before drinking. It turns out that one tablet is just about the right amount for each of our 24 ounce Naglene water bottles (0.75 liters). By planning ahead, the correct times (10 min. mixing + 30 min. wait) works out just about right. Plus, the mixing is happening as we're hiking. It's a lot easier to carry along these little tablets than the extra bottles of water. Although there is a very slight chlorine taste, we think it's much like some city water and don't find it objectionable at all. As a matter of fact, it's somewhat reassuring to know that it's been effective.

If it works with Kansas lake water, it will work anywhere
These tabs did great! We took our Boy Scouts on a 10 mile Back Pack trip in Kansas. The lake was brown and muddy. We put the water in a collapsible bucket and let it settle, then poured the water into our hydration packs. Then a few tabs and just like they say, you can drink the water. No issues, no worries, worked great.

No noticeable taste in the treated water.
No noticeable taste in the treated water. (I live in Chicago area.) I used 13 tablets in a 2.5 gal water jug (1 tablet per 1/5 gallon). 100 tablets was enough for 6 people and 5 days, while in the Canadian Quetico Provincial Park. I could have used more tablets in the water used for wash water and shower purposes. Even though they say you can drink the water right out of the lake, I still like to treat my water. There are times when you find yourself on a small lake or down wind in a lake with crud... so I don't always trust the water quality.I've used Polar Pure iodine in the past, but these tablets are MUCH better. Easy to pack, lightweight, easy to use, and no noticeable taste difference.

Good
The product is great, it's worth the buy. The reason for 4 stars is because I prefer my tablets to be in a foil package rather than a paper/foil package. Just in case it gets wet. Other then that it's a good product and the taste isn't bad.

Awesomely Convenient
I usually buy my water purification tabs in small bottles, but when I found out about these, I couldn't be happier. I have multiple survival/convenience kits for various aspects of my life (one in my car, one on my person, one in my EDC bag, etc.). So these are perfect for spreading out the tabs between all the kits. Comes with two tabs per sealed packet.Otherwise, they're just like any other chlorine tablet. They still make the water smell and taste like a public swimming pool, but it sure beats catching parasites.

Perfect for catastrophic emergencies.
Package arrived as pictured. Glad this company is selling them for a reasonable price as I am sending them to Puerto Rico so that friends and family affected by Hurricane Maria can have some clean drinking water. The 100 individually packed tabs are going to be handed out to 100 people there.

Value, good product
Compact, easy to store, and easy to use. We have well water and often lose our power. If that occurs after a bad storm (e.g., hurricane), the water turns a bit murky. While we do run a generator during those times, it's not run 24/7. When we bleach the well, it takes a long time to get the smell out of the water. I'd rather use these tablets dissolved according to instructions in our jugs of drinking water rather than a few drops of bleach in the jugs or a 1/4 cup of bleach in the well. Good product at a good price.
