These are great grits, cook in 5 minutes, and I buy them every year. I always take them to the New Year's Day party; my cheese grits are my most requested recipe: 2 cups Quick Grits, 2 sticks butter, 16 ounces Velveeta Mexican Mild cheese, 3 teaspoons kosher salt, 8 cups water, BOOM! there you go, fantastic with Honey baked ham and black-eyed peas.... perfect.

Quaker Grits is an excellent, wholesome product. I trust the Quaker brand and am happy with the grits. Grits are hard to find here in grumpy New England. While higher than the store price, if you can't find the product anywhere near you, this is the way to go. Enjoy!

I was surprised that the container was so small but the product is great

I come out of the Deep South where Quaker Grits was the morning meal. I have missed having them since I moved to Europe. So, when I checked to see if I could get them over Amazon, I was very surprised to find them here. Quaker Grits can be cooked in the microwave or like I do them. I put about four tablespoons of grits in a small amount of water (about a cup) in a small pot and let them cook slowly on the stove. During the cooking, I stir every now and then to make sure they don't stick to the bottom of the pot. They are hearty and filling, which means I don't get hungry and want a snack before lunch or dinner. Thus, I really enjoy Quaker Grits.
