Spicely Organic Annatto Powder 1LB Bulk Certified Gluten Free

Very good annatto powder. Some people say the color is not what they expected, but it’s exactly how it should be. Other non-organic annatto powders are too red, and I’m convinced they add some form of coloring to make them bright red. When the Soicely annatto powder hits the pan, you get exactly the dark red-orange you expect. Great flavor, too.

Complete disappointment. I cook with Annatto powder a lot and normally used Mama Sita's (and one other brand) but I ran out and the stores I can get it at were out so I figure I should buy in bulk. Should've been a red flag when the product doesn't show photo of the actually powder. The label makes the powder looks so red and vibrant but the powder is actual more a dull orange color. You'd have to use a lot compared to other brands. One of the main reason to use his powder is for the color!!! Now I'm stuck with a pound. Never ever buy anything from this brand again if the label continues to be deceiving.

The season is in the best i have ever had. I've had many types from this season and they where OK. This one gave the correct coloring on my Latin cooking and the flavor was on point. For the amount and the cost per ounce; compared to others sold on Amazon, it has the correct amount for the best price. Highly recommend anyone to purchase from this brand of seasoning.
