Great components for the price!
Ok sit down and enjoy my opinion for this drone kit. I’ve had 2 drone builds in the past before buying this kit. The only reason I bought this kit was because I had a couple of drone components laying around and I was just thinking of just swapping out the ones from this kit. Although, upon arrival I was impressed the quality/ material of all of the components. I read online that the components were out of date and that they aren’t worth buying, but honestly the performance of the drone all together works like a charm. Personally, I don’t care how old a component is as long as it works great. The ESC’s & motors aren’t top of the line, but they aren’t low of the line as well. The esc’s and motors are mid tier, they are exactly the same as the Racerstar counter part. When I say exactly I mean exactly to the quality, dimensions, and material. I figured out I was going to try to replicate this drone kit with the same components, but with name brand companies only like Racerstar. Racerstar sells the esc’s and motors for 55$ costing about half the price of this drone kit. Personally and honestly I feel like the motors and esc are worth buying to this day and for the next couple of years since they are mid tier and don’t feel like garbage when you are flying. To replace each component is going to be easy because you can always swap each esc with either a Racerstar or LHI part. Moving on, the LED’s are a good addition to have since it provides a great way to orientate yourself if you are doing a line of sight flying. The motor covers in the other hand I saw that they really take a beating and don’t break easily which is great. The carbon fiber frame is supper sturdy and strong that has lasted me from a 50 ft drop with only a chipped arm. The kit comes with a prop wrench which I love using and carry with me every time go flying. The vtx, camera, and antenna all work fine and provide a great image up to half a mile. The reason I say half a mile is because the place a go flying has a lot of trees and I don’t feel comfortable flying anymore than that because if I lose signal I’m going to lose the drone for sure. There’s little latency as to expect from any analog transmitter. The one thing I hope would be a little better in this kit would’ve been the flight controller. The flight controller works great but it has its limitations on how many uart ports it has. In other words, if you are planning to put on a gps, telemetry, osd, etc. you are more than capable but you are going to have to keep in mind that you can’t have everything all together in one. For example you can’t have anything plugged in UART 2 if you are going to plug in the usb into the FC. It’s just a hassle to have to take out anything to uart 2 which I really Hope was not necessary. Besides that complain the Flight controller by no means is garbage but it isn’t the best for a drone with a lot of attachments. If you are just using the drone for simple acrobatics or flying this drone is more than capable. Although if you want to have telemetry, osd, etc. it’s a hassle to put all of those things inside this drone due to the Flight controller. For that reason personally I would give this kit a 4 star but I won’t because I see this kit more than perfect for anyone barely getting into FPV and just want to get a drone up and flying. Also the customer support is amazing!!!! If you have any questions or problems the customer support always answers the during the same day during the weekdays. For this reason alone any company with great customer support should be recommended to everyone because they aren’t many companies that care about their products or customers. I look forward to buy from this company again soon because I know they are going to be there for any question I have.

not a full kit, need to buy more to use
I bought this for my brother, but I still need to buy a battery and the controller. I wish I could've found a complete kit that had everything. there were pictures of the controller within the listing, but it wasn't included

First fpv
Received the drone kit in a very timely fashion. Based on the initial feel, it seems like a good drone, with all the needed bells and whistles that the more expensive drone have.

Quality carbon fiber, clean tooling, and a great choice of components for new FPV pilots.
First let me say that working with LHI has been an exceptionally pleasant experience.I received my LHI 220 combo within two (2) weeks of placing my order. The parcel came well packaged and no damage to any of the internal components.Upon layout of the LHI220 frame pieces, and a little experimenting with the way the puzzle goes together, the route to final assembly comes quickly into focus, and from there it’s a simple matter of putting screws in holes, flipping it over and adding the corresponding frame nut or standoff. Assembly can be accomplished completely with one properly sized hex wrench (2.5mm) and a small cross tip (+) screwdriver; no nut-drivers are required. If you get stuck, do an internet search for the “Wizard X220” and plenty of reviews and build videos. The Matek Power Distribution Board with the built-in voltage regulators simplifies the wiring but does nothing to end a small nest of wires. It’s just part and parcel of building a multi-rotor. The silk screening on the Matek PDB is well marked and the output voltages are accurate (note: 4.98 vdc coming from a pad marked 5 vdc is totally acceptable, so don’t get flustered if the voltages read a few points lower than marked.)The SPRacing F3 Flight Control (FC) board is a fine board for the beginner to work with. It is presented as such to allow the user to either attach pin headers to allow a “plug and play” setup, or the advanced user/builder can place their wiring directly on the board “through-hole” style. I built mine this way, forgoing the header pins and going direct solder to the pads/through holes. The FC also comes with a protective case and a nice bundle of color-coded wires with DuPont connectors installed. NOTE: the protective case cannot be used with this build, as there is no way to secure it to the frame. The pin headers can still be used, but it’s not recommended…they add weight (every gram and fraction thereof count,) and complexity. Just plan your wiring, poke the appropriate wire through the requisite hole and solder it into place. This FC is not the newest “does everything” all-in-one board on the market, but it has a great track record and is easy to solder up, and programming in Cleanflight, Betaflight, or EmuFlight is super easy. Again, and internet search setting up a quad in any of the mentioned configurators will bring forth a plethora of videos and tutorials. The SPRacing F3 board does not have an On-Screen Display (OSD) chip, nor does it have a compass or barometer. An aftermarket OSD can be added, but that adds weight and complexity. If you are a beginner getting into this sport, skip the OSD. You can still get plenty of thrills of First-Person-View (FPV) flight without an OSD cluttering the view. The overall build only took a few hours (maybe a little longer for newcomers to this fantastic hobby) with no major issues encountered.PROS: 1. It’s a complete kit, down to the propellers. 2. The carbon fiber is a good, stiff 4mm thick for the arms. New pilots will surely test the strength of the carbon fiber. 3. All the edges are well cut. I found sign of dull tools cutting out this frame. 4. The fit and finish of all parts is clean. No forcing anything together, no trimming, sanding or filing to get things to fit was required. 5. The screws all seem to be high quality. I did not have any strip threads, round out hex sockets or break shafts. This is a BIG PLUS!!! There is nothing more frustrating than breaking or stripping a small metric screw on a Saturday night, knowing there is no place open on Sunday to get a replacement.A couple things worth mentioning (these are not “CONS” and should not dissuade you from buying this kit, just keep these in mind and you will not have any issues with this build): 1. Use the motor guards. The motor screws are too long to use without them and they will protect your motors from being banged up. Without the guards, the motor screws WILL contact the winding's in the motor, causing a short circuit and damaging electrical components. Use the motor guards. 2. If you want to use the LED disks, you will have to get longer motor screws. The provided screws are not long enough to go through the LED disk, the motor arm, the motor guard and into the motor. All in all, it’s a good little quad, with correctly sized components and a great company behind them.If you are just starting out, this a good combo at a great price.

Nice kit
It’s my first time assembling a fpv drone. Its challenging but I had a pleasant experience with this kit.
