High Protein and Fiber, Tastes Great, but a Little Expensive and Uses Soy Protein
I've tried numerous high protein (approximately 1g/10Cal) cereals, and I rate this one as amazing, 5/5 stars. I eat all my cereals with skim milk. You shouldn't eat too much soy protein, but as I only eat cereal in the morning, and it's my only source of soy protein, I don't knock stars for doing what every high protein cereal I've tried has done.Taste - 5/5-I love the taste of this cereal. You definitely get the maple flavor, and it's not overpowering or fake. With milk, this cereal becomes soft, but not too soft (though that might be because I eat it so quickly). This is by far the best tasting high protein cold cereal I've tried, and I recommend trying it on taste alone.Texture - 4/5-The texture is fine for cereal, but I typically like more of a crunch in my cereal. This cereal is not too soft, and not too crunchy, somewhere right in the middle. If it sits too long in milk, it will become soggy (like all cereals), but I don't really have that problem. One thing to note is that about half of the pieces sink rather than float in the cereal (i.e., the cereal will be at the bottom covered by a layer of milk).Nutrition - 5/5-I'm giving this is a 5/5 on nutrition despite using soy protein. For someone who eats a lot of soy, that could be a concern, but cereal is the only source of soy I have all day. The protein ratio is absurdly amazing: 12g/90Cal. It is nearly impossible to find a cereal that meets my golden ratio (1g/10Cal), let alone one that exceeds it. I also appreciate the high fiber content in this cereal. The overall nutrition profile for how good this cereal tastes is simply amazing.Serving Size - 3.5/5-I like to eat a lot of food, and unfortunately this cereal prevents me from doing that. I eat 100g of cereal each morning, and this one barely fills up a half bowl. I've combated this problems by adding other cereals that take up space (e.g., Kay's Naturals Gluten Free French Vanilla Protein Cereal, 9.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) ), but this is basically my only complaint.TL;DR: I love this cereal, and if you're looking for a protein packed, healthy cereal, buy this one now. I usually only buy it when it's under $5.28 w/o subscribe and save.

Nothing Special
This cereal is okay. As a huge cereal addict, dieting is pretty hard for me, so I've been looking for healthy cereals that are low cal and high in protein and fiber. Hence why I decided to try this. The cereal has a bran taste and is a little sweet. I liked the almonds and consistency of the cereal. I know why the serving size is small, I ate a little over a cup and felt sick.As mentioned by another reviewer, the bag is half empty - this won't last you long at all. Which is actually pretty good if you're just testing it.I probably won't order it again. I prefer Kay's Protein cereal... SO GOOD.

Tasty
These are the best low carb flakes! Sweet, nutty and quite tasty. Love being able to have a tasty cereal without blowing my carb budget. Great change from eggs every morning.

Ridiculously Sweet
I bought this with high hopes that I had found a low carb, tasty cereal that I could eat without ill effects for my Type 1 diabetes. What a disappointment this was. It is made with Sucralose instead of stevia and was so disgustingly sweet that I could barely eat it. Sucralose is not as healthy( recent studies link it to cancer in rats) as stevia and is many times sweeter. It also acted on my blood to send my glucose soaring. I am going to throw it away which is a drag because it was also the most expensive box of cereal I have ever purchased. It’s really a shame because the carb and protein levels listed on the box are excellent, the maple flavor was good but it was so sickeningly sweet and made with an inferior sweetening agent. What a waste!

Low sugar, high protein - a nice combination.
I really like Nutritious Living's Hi-Lo Cereal in Maple Pecan. I also like the Vanilla Almond flavor. I get these with subscribe and save. I have recently lost a large amount of weight, mostly through watching the amount of sugar in the food I eat. I have yet to find one with less than 10 g of sugar that tastes better than cardboard. I still reread the nutrition facts periodically because I can't believe how little sugar is in this cereal. I also stop in the health food section of my grocery store to read those labels. I can't find anything that compares to this one, not even close. The 12 g of protein per serving is a nice bonus.I use this cereal to add some crunch to Greek yogurt. I get vanilla and add blueberries and top with one of these cereals. It is a nice treat. There have been a couple of times when Amazon isn't able to send my shipment and I begin to panic. Fortunately, it hasn't been a permanent outage and they are usually sent the next month. I now have a little extra, just in case this happens again!

Not impressed!
This is a cereal, that as a diabetic, I thought would be more nutritious. The taste is okay, nothing special, but the price that is charged for it is beyond ridiculous. I would never purchase it again, and would suggest that people read the ingredients info on normal store products to make an informed decision on what to buy. I think items that are sold as being a healthier choice lend themselves to ripping off the public.

Too much artificial sweetener taste for me.
I like this cereal, but I can taste the Splenda a lot, more than I'd like to. The protein content is good, and the reason I bought the cereal. I've gone through a few boxes but recently found a similar cereal in another brand that I can buy at my local grocery store, and at half the cost. I enjoyed having it for the occasional bowl of cereal which I miss, since I eat lower carb. Had I not found the other brand, I'd probably keep buying this, at least periodically. The other brand tastes better, with no sucralose aftertaste, and is much less expensive, so it was an easy choice for me. Not bad if you want cereal with high protein and are ok with the Splenda taste.
