Brabantia Dish Drying Rack, Dark Grey, Large (38.5 x 49 cm)

The media could not be loaded. We bought this when we redid our kitchen, so that we didn't need to put in a draining board, and keep more worktop space. Therefore we put this away in a cupboard after we've dried the washing up. We've been using it for about 3 weeks now.It seems to be perfectly sturdy, both the aluminium frame and the plastic base. Because the lip projects lower than the base I worry it might snap off in the future as we move it around and maybe bash it against things but it's fine right now and that may be an unfounded worry.Perhaps most importantly, the slope on it and the lip are well designed. Our sink is slightly overmounted, so the lip is about 2-3mm above the level of the worktop. It still drains absolutely fine and keeps the wet off of our oak worktops really well. Also because the slope is sufficient it means that the water doesn't pool on the base and get manky.It seems to be pretty stylish too. It looks modern but not over the top. Our kitchen is relatively traditional and it looks perfectly in keeping.I think one improvement could be to put some (perhaps removable) feet into it to help it get over the lip of overmounted sinks.

This is much sleeker than. The big rack we had before. We have a dishwasher so it is mainly for pots, pans and odd bits we can’t put in dishwasher. Well designed, very nice quality and holds plenty. Easy to stand up big chopping boards.

Still undecided about this. Looks good I have the dark one, but it does get dirty easily so always have to wipe it down. My plates, the large ones, don’t stand up in the rack and it isn’t the biggest drying rack either.

A great drying rack, it really blends well with the aesthetic of my kitchen. It’s very minimal and does a great job however I have noted that on the undertray it does stain white quite quick from limescale. The rack itself is very strong however be careful drying your stainless steel items on this as it scratches them. My coffee machine drain plate has sustained some scratches after cleaning it which bugs me quite abit. Overall a good product that is value for money, it’s a shame about the negatives.

A fantastic quality product. Holds dishes well and has a compartment for most needs. Limescale can build up on this product due to its rough finish but then again it is easy to clean. I recommend cleaning often to avoid limescale build up.

This is small but it is really sturdy. Can carry our big plates without problem and really good for its size.

Fits perfectly next to the limited space I have next to my sink. Really pleased.

This is a well made item. However dinner plates will not stay upright in the rack. They just fall over so could cause them to fall over and smash. Sent it back due to this design fault. I cannot believe this has been overlooked by Brabantia as any other products we have of theirs are so well made and sturdy. It’s great for small side plates etc, but this is supposed to hold dinner plates as well and it fails badly on this point.
