This worked great the first three times we used it.It didn't work so great the fourth time.As you can see, it melted. My wife had been using it to blend a soup, as one does with an immersion blender. It started to sound odd and then it came apart. I took it apart and there you go, it melted.I'd try to get my money back, but what is the point? I guess you get what you pay for.Next time, I'll buy a more expensive brand name one.So yeah, if you only want to use this a few times, go ahead, buy it, but if you want it to be a part of your kitchen tools, go ahead and pay more for a name brand product.I do not recommend.

It was just as I expected and is going to make the perfect gift for my daughter.

Whisk attachment very loud, blender attachment is quiet. Seems well made but is heavier than my old one that finally died.

I love this blender and it does what it is intended to do. You do need to be wary of the time frame in which you are using the unit. I had 4 stock pots of soup that needed blending and by the time I got to the 3rd pot, the unit was quite "hot" and difficult to hold without a potholder !! Cool down time was lengthy. The answer may be to NOT purchase a unit with so much metal on it.

The third time I used it, it started smoking and I had to wrestle to remove the attachment because the plastic inside had started to melt and fused the parts together. Too bad because, other than that, it worked well. ;)

I love it! It is pretty powerful so be careful if you are using a small bowl. It has replaced my blender. I have gone through frozen fruit in a snap! Whipping cream is super easy and the product is very easy to clean. I run it under warm water right after use And cleaning under the blades isn’t too difficult either.

I was looking for a hand blender that would allow me to make really smooth, creamy velvety soups. After I read reviews and descriptions of the item, I thought I had found the perfect option! Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed. All in all, this blender works well, but if you're looking for super smooth texture, maybe your should pass.

Purchased for single smoothie making. I normally blend frozen fruit but this blender simply didnt have enough power. I tried another time using ice, and still hardly had enough power to blend the ice. Would recommend spending the extra $ and getting a better known brand. I got a Cusinart and no problems.
