These are nice gloves. Perfect fit, good rubber gripping on the palm side, flexible and lightweight fabric, and I like that the fingers are exposed. I initially bought these gloves for when I SUP because I'm always getting a blister between my thumb and forefinger from holding the paddle. It's been to cold to try them out paddling, but I decided to start using them when I cycle and they've been great. I was hesitant to buy from this brand because their other gloves are not very well rated, but I'm glad I took a chance on these ones (there was no rating when I purchased).

They fit comfortably, and I guess if I have to wear gloves to prevent unsightly and painful callouses, then these are perfect. My brain would prefer no gloves, but my hands disagree. I love that they are cute and primarily pink instead of mostly black like most gloves. They are very minimal but do a great job protecting my palms when I paddle. I question how long they will last because they are so very thin, but if they last longer than 6 months (I paddle 5 to 7 times per week -- 5 to 15 miles per session), I will be so impressed that I'll have to change this to a 5 star review.UPDATE: I didn't even wear them five times before the seam by the thumb split wide open. They still work for now (there are a few stitches hanging in there), but I either have to sew them up and hope the new seam doesn't chafe me, or get a replacement pair. It's a disappointment :(

I got these for my girlfriend who uses them for dragon boat competitions and practice and they work exactly as described! She uses them with a carbon paddle that get really slippery when wet and had absolutely no problem keeping hold of her paddle. She also said noted how they did in fact protect her hands from getting calluses and blisters which is great as well.Now the reason the gloves are only four stars instead of five is the tips of the glove on each finger is a bit short and rough so when she grips the paddle the gloves tend to rub that section raw.

I use these for kayaking. The lining on the palm keeps water out and they were very comfortable. After a 2.5 hr. run on the kayak, my hands were relatively dry (I mean, you are on the water....) and I had no blisters. The quality is good.

I bought these for Kayaking. They worked beautifully. No hot. Not bulky. Awesome grip on my paddle. I felt I had better control when water got rough. Gonna buy another pair!!!

The edge of the thumb isn't smooth, and I ended up with a blister. Not a big deal, I guess, when you consider that the palms are really nice and grippy. I'll use them for yardwork, maybe, but I won't take them kayaking again.

Great grip when I’m paddling - won’t practicr or race without them! Been using 3x a week forAbout a month - doing well. Rubber strips on palm side really help - unlike my team mates who have gloves but theirs doesn’t “grip”

I'm a skiff rower and have tried different gloves. The Hornet eowing gloves are so soft and comfortable and give a good grip. I strongly dislike the pink colour but apart from the colour I finally found the rowing gloves I love :-) My partner also bought a pair and also finds them very comfortable.

These are great gloves very durable allows for excellent grip even when the oars get wet when rowing. Sleek, slim and look very good as well

There aren't many waterproof but unsweaty gloves suitable for paddling. These work!

Gloves are good quality for price.Good for indoor rowing but no good if you compete as you are NOT ALLOWED to wear them.

...bis auf das grelle Pink!!!Für unsere einwöchige Paddeltour habe ich mir als Anfängerin diese Handschuhe gekauft, als Vorsorge gegen Blasen an den Händen. Es war die allerbeste Entscheidung... Bei täglichen Touren von 20 km in praller Sonne, bei Wind und z.T. hohen Wellen haben sie mir gute Dienste geleistet.Da sie bei Ankunft nach Auspacken aus der Plastiktüte leicht unangenehmen Geruch verströmten, habe ich sie gleich mit Waschmittel gewaschen und über Nacht darin eingeweicht. Nach Spülen und Trocknen war der Geruch weg.Die Handschuhe sitzen gut, reiben nicht und schränken auch die Beweglichkeit nicht ein. Die Handfläche ist mit dünnen Silikonstreifen verstärkt, wodurch ein rutschfester Griff des Paddels möglich ist. Der Daumen-Bereich besteht aus scheuerfestem Neopren, so dass auch in diesem Bereich nichts reibt oder Blasen verursacht. Die Innen- und Oberseite ist aus elastischem Stoff, der sich bei Wellengang oder einem Griff ins Wasser nie unangenehm nass anfühlt und auch wahnsinnig schnell trocknet. Die Klettverschlüsse am Gelenk sitzen fest und sichern die Verstellbarkeit je nach Handumfang. Die Fingerspitzen sind frei, so dass die Hände bei heißem Wetter nicht schwitzen. Ob sie sich für kaltes Wetter/Wasser auch so gut eignen, kann ich nicht einschätzen.Ich hatte mir zwei unterschiedliche Größen zur Anprobe bestellt, da mein Handumfang genau auf der Grenze von Größe M zu L lag. Ich habe mich für das größere Paar entschieden, da es besser saß und die Finger nicht total eng umschloss. Das mag aber Geschmackssache sein, wer es gern enganliegend mag, wäre mit der kleineren Version besser dran.Einziger Wermutstropfen war für mich das penetrant grelle Barbie-Pink, eigentlich für mich ein absolutes no-go. Hätte es irgendeine andere Farbe gegeben, hätte ich auf alle Fälle kein Pink gewählt. Aber zum Glück hat es sich schon nach zwei Tagen Paddeln in praller Sonne mit vielmaligem Nasswerden und Trocknen zu einem erträglichen hellrosa ausgebleicht, fast hautfarbig. Damit kann ich gut leben.Was mich verwunderte, dass die beiden Größen getrennt verschickt wurden. Größe L kam sparsam verpackt im gepolsterten Briefumschlag. Die M kam im Päckchen (23x16x11 cm), das war völlig überdimensioniert, auch aus öko-Sicht.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet (thank you, quarantine) so I will have to come back to give an update on durability and whatnot. I will say that they feel great and are true to size. I always struggle with fitting gloves of any kind, but the size chart was accurate and I am stoked to test them properly when I can finally get back in a kayak.

There was time when we were kayaking on very rough water and we had to paddle very hard to get back to the shore, the seams between the digit finger and the thumb were too rough made, almost broke my skin.

Ich benutze diese Handschuhe für das Rudern im Boot und nicht am Ergometer.Und hierfür eignet er sich wirklich gut. Man hat trotz Handschuh ein gutes Gefühl in den Händen und nichts drückt oder wellt. Allerdings würde ich den Handschuh lieber etwas kleiner bestellen.
