For a while I carried it with me and reread it for comfort
This is my favourite series of all time, and the little guy in the spotted hoodie is my comfort character. I carried this in my purse full of comfort items and medical supplies for a couple of years while at my medical lowest and would pull it out to reread his nonsense when I needed a pick-me-up. I wish I could purchase the full set of manga, because this series is everything to me.

Son loved reading this book.
I haven’t actually read this book, but my 11 year old loved it. I think he had finished it with a few hours of it arriving.

Small changes, but a good translation. Recommended for newcomers and fans alike.
A quality translation. There are a few changes to most common fandubs that will stick out to anyone who's read the manga online beforehand (Or is a fan of Kagerou Project in general), but it's more than serviceable. The only truly bothersome changes would be...Tsubomi Kido is referred to as 'Boss' by the other Dan members, rather than 'Commander' or 'Danchou'. Nothing huge, but feels incredibly out of place to anyone used to hearing the former. Still cringe everytime they say it...Shuuya Kano's dialogue has been translated in a way that extremely alters the character, going for some kind of Hawaiian accent, or something...very bothersome. The only change I'd consider to be awful.Mary is now Marie. Including the anime translation, we now have Mary, Marry, and Marie. Not a problem or anything, just weird that her name has been changed a third time.Overall, I'd recommend it to newcomers (After reading volume 1, of course) and fans who want to own more merchandise or reread the manga in a new way. You'll have to excuse a few slightly annoying changes, but it is still the manga we know - and I hope it can continue to introduce more western audiences to it.I'll be keeping up with all the translations to come, and incredibly happy to finally see an official KagePro translation being sold at retail stores across various English speaking countries.Really can't wait to see them handle chapter 17...I've read it so many times online, excited to see a new translation of it!

Need more main Character!
Wish it would revolve more around the main character instead of all these side bit players... This whole volume only has like ten pages with him...

It's okay
~3/5I really want to like this series, and the idea of it still intrigues me. But given that this volume was in the same time as where the first one started, I’m feeling more unsure now.I do typically like seeing alternate points of view, seeing what happened in other peoples minds. It was done well here, given that this time we’re with the sister, and she is meeting the group in a very different way. We get to see them and know them better here, and see what happens in the hostage situation better. I do like the group of characters—they intrigue me a lot, and the idea of what is happening is interesting. But there wasn’t much progression in this volume. I’m still not much closer to the characters or figuring out what is happening, or what the objective is. I’m a little confused.I might pick up the next one when I get the chance, but I might not. I’m just feeling iffy about it.[More of my reviews are available on my blog, Geeky Reading, to which there's a link on my profile.]
