Definitely Advanced
I used the Basic Revolution Balance board at my gym. Even at my age (45) I got good enough that people would ask me advice on how to use it and get better... so not bad if I do say so myself. Enjoyed it so much I went for the Advanced Board for my home. Well it is definitely Advanced.I am glad that I went for the Advanced Board, but there are some things to consider. The Basic model doesn't really move forward and back (just side to side) unless you work to do so. Mr Advanced does, a lot. Also the surface area touching the roller is much smaller allowing for much more precise control, the trade off being - much quicker to "out of control".I can stand on the Basic board doing Taiji (Tai Chi - yes really =), and never come off and find a very meditative state of relaxation in balance. I can not do that on the Advanced Board "yet". I will get there, but it is much more of a challenge. If the Basic Board is a 6 in difficulty then Mr Advanced is something like an 18. All I am saying is that it is a BIG step up.Great product. I am certainly a fan, but if you bought Mr A before you were ready it may bum you out and end up sitting in the corner rather than teach you the joy and mental acuity that comes from practicing balance related arts.I hope this helps with your choices.

Family Fun & It’s Exercise!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The board is great quality and is an absolute blast! I bought this for my wife and I to work core when surfing isn’t an option but my 6 and 9 year old boys have commandeered it. It’s much trickier than the 101 version of the board but even if you surf and or wakeboard as opposed to skateboard, you’ll still pick it up quick. It rolls really fast but I was easily able to immediately hop on a skateboard and repeat the shuv it I’d practiced in the tutorials. I found it best to perfect the tricks on a rug in the garage before upping the ante and adding the roller. As the directions say, you really do have to have the balance down solid before attempting any tricks. Overall, we’re completely satisfied and will likely order more so we aren’t waiting in line.

Poor value, not durable
The boards WILL break. Nothing. Special about them.Other problems:- felt covered roller is poorly designed and wears down very quickly- grip tape on underside of board eventually peels back and renders the board unusable.

Great board!
This board is awesome. I have used different types of balance boards in the past and I have to say that this is my favorite so far.Pro's: you can do many tricks and land back in a balance such as ollies, kickflips, 360 flips, etc. Gives you the balance feel of snowboarding or skateboarding.Cons: within the first couple times using it, the graphins started to come off on all the edges. I have only had it for a week and it already looks really worn. The black balance tube also loses its material frequently. If you have it on carpet, the carpet will be covered with black material.

I truly love this thing
Honestly was doubtful this would help me at all. Being a huge action sport fan I bought it anyway after being sold out for a long time I saw my opportunity and made the purchase.Longboarding/skateboarding: Helps strengthen your balance for sure! You can re -create a manual type of feeling on the board and it's not that easy right off the bat. Not to mention all the tech tricks this thing has to offer! ( I'm not as young as I was before so huuuge manuals on longboards are totally my thing these days.)Snowboarding: I've been preparing for snowboard season here in MN, USA and that's where this thing really seems to help for me. After getting the initial balancing down to a T, one can ollie from the carpet and land in a backslide boardslide or frontside boardslide on the roller and act as if it's a rail and really get one of the only other forms of practicing grinding I can think of other than going out there and just sending it. You can practice grinding form while balancing. ( shoulder position, weight distribution, grinding form, and balancing. It's actually really fun and challenging to do and I feel more confident already. ) Even though it's not slippery like a rail the balancing part of it all is hard enough to give you a fair reenactment of truly grinding. ) Also tail presses and nose presses are a thing you can practice as well if you widen your stance a bit. ( I've found. )With that being said... You can... and will fall eventually if using this for advanced tricks. ( prob on even the easier tricks too. )Make sure there is at least a 6 or 7 foot clear radius around you. I've been using all types of boards for nearly 15 years now. And I can't Express enough... this thing will get you if your trying anything more than balancing. I actually laughed when I fell for the first time bc it was actually pretty hard slam. Lol, Luckily carpet is forgiving. With that being said the board is not though. With flip tricks and pop shoves I've actually had the board pop up and almost hit me in face a few times but moved in time and it hit my shoulder a few times! Didn't feel that great!!!!My only complain or suggestion would be a revamped deck with a better tail on both sides. Not really a fan of the one side seems better for Ollies and the other is too short to get a decent amount of pop. I suppose that was on purpose for kids or universal use? Idk.And I wish they had better management on their YouTube. like full videos. in order. how toos. Seemed like their channel was all over the place. ( Although I did learn some things, just wasn't organized in my opinion.)Overall I'm super happy with this!!!Oh! Did I mention it's a workout!!!! Total plus! :)

Very well-made and good quality. I also have a Vew-Do balance board
Very well-made and good quality. I also have a Vew-Do balance board. While Vew-Do's rail and groove system works better for kickturns, the Revolution boards are far better for ollies and kick flips. I'd recommend this board.
