I needed a new cord for my wired Xbox 360 controller. These ones are quite durable. The length is quite good as well. Charges rather quickly. It is compatible with any wired/battery powered Xbox 360 controller. The value of this product is very good, doesn't cost too much in my opinion

My son was sad when his old 360 cords took a crap he has a ps5 but he loves some of the old 360 games I think he plays the 360 more than the ps5. So when his charging cords broke he was devastated. This made him the happiest kid on earth!

They work fine, and the length is far superior to those cords I find in gaming stores. They don't like to stay put in the controller very well though, and fall right out of I move too much. Otherwise, compatibility and function are great.

My original review score of 5 is still accurate, as these cables have done what I needed them to, but my situation is unique and I need to clarify some very important details. If you're interested in these cables because you want to use them with an Xbox 360, you can ignore this review. If you're interested in using them to play PC games I urge you to keep reading, as that is what I use them for. But again, important distinctions need to be made. ***If you want these cables, or any 360 controller cables, to play PC games, these WILL NOT WORK on their own. These cables are for charging a wireless 360 controller battery pack, or possibly playing 360 games directly. These cables DO NOT turn a wireless 360 controller into a functional wired PC controller. These cables CAN be used to play PC games but ONLY IF you also have a wireless 360 adapter. The only reason to buy these cables for use with PC gaming is this: If you have a wireless 360 controller, you also have an Xbox 360 PC adapter, and you do not want to bother with batteries or a battery pack when using your wireless 360 controller.*** ========================== My situation is this: I have several wireless controllers and wanted to use them to play PC games. I was able to do this when, years ago, I purchased a 360 PC adapter like this one (note: I don't own this exact item, mine is the official Microsoft version. I started looking into cables like the ones here on this page, thinking that they would allow me to connect a wireless controller to the PC, thus turning it into wired controller for direct play and eliminating any further need for batteries or a battery pack. This APPEARED to work, and I therefore gave a strong review. The problem came when, many months later, I only just today realized that I was half-correct. This is the very important part. These cables DO physically connect a wireless 360 controller to the PC, but that is only for the purpose of charging a 360 battery pack if one is attached to that controller. On their own, these cables WILL NOT transfer gameplay data to the PC. They DO NOT "turn a wireless 360 controller into a wired PC controller". It initially appeared to me that they did but that's only because, when switching from batteries to trying out these cables, I had forgotten to ever disconnect my 360 PC adapter from the back of my PC. One of these cables was supplying power to my wireless controller, but it was the still-attached 360 PC adapter that was allowing the powered controller to actually interact with my PC games. I was able to use these cables to play PC games, yes, but only because I hadn't realized that they were working in tandem with the adapter to accomplish this. ========================== BOTTOM LINE: * The cables on this page, and I think it's safe to assume ALL 360 wireless controller charge cables, ONLY supply power to the controller. While this may work in turning a wireless 360 controller into a wired one for direct plug and play with the Xbox 360 console (this wasn't my goal so I don't know), they DO NOT do so for PC games. * A 360 controller adapter for the PC, like the one I linked above, is REQUIRED in order to use a wireless 360 controller to play PC games. * I am almost totally certain that a WIRED / CORDED 360 controller WILL allow you to play PC games via direct connection with no need for an adapter or any other items. If you're interested in that please research further to be sure. * Thus, the combination of charging cables like these PLUS a 360 PC adapter WILL allow you to play PC games in the following configuration: Your wireless controller will be connected via cable to your PC which will power the controller, the adapter will allow the controller to interface with your PC games, and this specific configuration will eliminate the need for batteries or any kind of rechargeable battery pack. I hope that this review helps to clarify some things, and I sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by my initial misunderstanding.

Thanks to the reviewer that stated it charges while console is on. I am leaving a good 3 star review because my controllers only work while cable is plugged into controller. Meaning there is no charge that allows me to use the controllers without the cables. I am hoping that this experience has more to do with a need to replace the rechargeable batteries. I just ordered new rechargeable batteries. My expectation is to charge the controller and continue to use my controllers while cable is disconnected after a full charge. I will return the cables If this does not happen with new batteries.

I ordered these after misplacing my original charging cable for my Xbox 360 wireless controllers. They fit the controllers perfectly and work as intended.

Gave us the option for battery-free play on our 360 with us around the sofa.

Needed these to charge my 360 controllers and they came in clutch

The product isn't an original so it doesn't fit perfectly to the xbox 360 controller but still does the job. Also, it doesn't work like the original cable, I.e., you can only use your console when it is plugged to the wire, it doesn't charge the backpack, so once you remove the cable from the console, the console stops working. Light only appears when you connect the cable to the console and dissappears after. The length of the cable is not too long, around 3.5-4 feet. Moreover, you don't require the battery pack or cells holder at all if you are using the wire! Overall, good for price and does what intended for.
