So far, I have no complaints. However, my friends say that it's like a dog whistle and makes them cringe. They can hear it and they said it's bad especially up close. I personally don't hear it, I do hear the buzzing when you turn it on to light up, but it doesn't bother me at all. Oh, and the time it took to get here from when I ordered it, almost a month, I almost cancelled the order. But, it's here now and thinking about ordering another one so that my husband and I can have one each. I think it was already charged before it was shipped because I was able to use it as soon I got it out of the packaging, which was great because I couldn't wait to try it out. Living in a place where it's always windy, this is great for me because I always have trouble using the regular lighter against the wind.

Ok i have had to update my original review a bit, have had this lighter now for two months, it has a what i would call a soft button to ignite it, which wears out easy, i have noticed this on many devices.. if they changed this to what i would call a hard button (one that had a actual click that you could feel) then it would probably have a durability that would last and excuse the price of this lighter.... as it is the cost of two bic lighters would be far less then this novelty lighter.People seem to complain about the high pitch whine, i was expecting it to sound like a tazer or something.. but realistically the volume is so low on the whine its a non issue. I'm a heavy smoker and this does last through a full day and recharge time is not that long at all. Only real problem that i have found so far is the safety mechanism that keeps it from sparking when the lid closes sometimes stick and keep it from igniting even when the lid is open, seems to fix itself by closing and reopening. Have had it about a month now, but i am wondering just how long it will continue to work reliably.

Ordered it as a novelty item because I figured thats what it was. Its definitely not a TOLEAD item. Looks the same as the picture but its labeled TIGER since 1992 with the writing already being rubbed off. Product from china. Works like its supposed to. 3 out of 5 cause of the false advertisement. Also dont expect to use this and have the top open the whole way. Only opens up as much as in the picture.

Comes with a nice box, charging cable and very well made for the money, surprisingly quieter than I thought it would be, I thought it would be like a noisy stun gun but it relatively quiet, I no longer smoke but it will light paper so fast it will surprise you.

4 stares for the high pitch wine the lighter makes when lit. Other than that I love this thing it is super sleek looking and does what it's supposed to perfectly. The packaging that it comes in is also very nice I have to say I'm impressed. It's more a 4 1/2 overall. As long as the noise doesn't bother you it's a 5 in my book!

it's pretty cool, but the available space you have to light anything is very small. only good for lighting very small objects that are easily accessible.

Piece of junk. Workrd once today. Tried to recharge and won't recharge either.
