Worked great on water pump bolt
Worked great on a water pump bolt that snapped going into my engine block. Saved me the trouble of drilling out the bolt. Cant comment on durability but for $20 it was worth it.

Waste of money
This was a waste of money all it's doing is rounding off the threads of the bolt the bolt hasn't even moved don't waist your time on this product

Works, but not as sturdy as it first looks
After watching the video on this listing I decided to order one after the head snapped of on the thermostat housing of my 79’ trans Am, and I needed to get the frozen stud out of the intake manifold to replace it. I doused the bolt in penetrating fluid many times over the next 24 hours. The tool arrived next day, and I was exited to give it a try as it seemed heavy duty and up for the task. As there was a good 5/8 protruding from the intake, the tool was easily able to grip it, but it seemed the more I tightened it seemed to go crooked. I backed it off and reseated the tool and tightened it down again. As I used a 3/8 inch ratchet, it eventually stopped tightening and the bolt released and started to turn out.My joy however was short lived as I noticed that although it did the job, one of the teeth had sheered as can be seen in the attached picture.I think it just needs a little improvement, and it will be a good tool, but because it is now unusable. I’m giving it 3 stars because it removed the sheered bolt, but will be looking for a stronger option for next time.

Didn't Extract Bolt
This didn't extract the bolt for me. In all fairness the bolt I needed to extract exceeded 135 psi torque and I didn't have much bolt for the extractor to bite down on. This tool didn't work for me but it is a good tool.

Works great
I had a stripped button head bolt which nothing could grab as the part sticking out was just round. After opening this product and looking at what it was supposed to grab I felt that I wasted my time buying this extractor as there was just no way it was going to work. I put it in a Milwaukee 3/8" electric ratchet and held the tightener while ratcheting in reverse. I was absolutely shocked to see the extractor grab on to the bold on a completely tapered edge and remove it. I figured the bolt must have been looser than I thought as the friction had removed it but after inspecting the removed bolt in the extractor I can tell you it was really wedged in there. The extractor held it to such an extent that I needed to hit it with a hammer a couple times to unseize it. At this point I'm convinced that if you have anything sticking out that will fit in this Chuck it will remove it.
