Great little weather station.
I have been using this weather station for a couple weeks now and I have to admit, I really do like it. It can run off batteries, or you can plug it into an outlet. I prefer the outlet since it will stay lit up and easier to read. It tells you alot about the weather outside. It includes the temperature inside and outside, a barometer, humidity, and the precipitation. It also has the date and time as well. I really recommend it to anyone. I did find it kind of tricky to setup though.

Horrendous manual, cannot read screen from bed, readings are off, power supply cord flaky
The first one we received was shipped in a padded envelope -- the screen was cracked when we opened it. Amazon immediately shipped us a replacement. Unfortunately, that's where the positive comments end.The manual is written in "Chinglish" and is very difficult to understand. It references a part identifier in the manual, but doesn't tell you which "figure" of many it's referencing -- you have to guess. The manual is very confusing in its terminology, as if it's a one-size-fits-all manual. The directions are sequential for setting up the clock, but if you need to change something, you have thumb through the entire manual to find it.The screen can barely be read from lying position on bed. The temps are WAY off -- even after placing the sensor next to the clock overnight -- so it's useless as a weather station.If you move the clock, the power often goes shut off, requiring one to "jiggle" the power connector.In short, it's one of the worst clocks I've ever seen. We're sending it back and we're going to replace it with the clock we had previously -- it's only problem was it didn't automatically adjust the time for Daylight Savings Time -- a small inconvenience compared to the nonsense of this clock.

Probably to return it..alarms sound when none are set; remote sensor area on base alternates from sensor 1 to 3 (only using 1) hard to read from angle (with low back light)

Mine broke within one month of use
A couple of things...the screen is hard to read at a lot of different angles and mine broke within a month. The screen no longer works. :( I don’t know what happened but it just quit working. The accuracy is good. I could never get the date and time to auto update like it should though.

very simple to setup and use
great display, synced with Atomic Clock fairly quickly, must still put in proper timezone manually. My only complaint is that you cannot have BOTH battery and AC power simultaneously. If using AC adapter, must remove batteries. WHY? why not put in one resistor and allow it to use Li-Ion or NiCad too? when power fails, everything is wiped out if on AC adapter.

Very attractive way to find out what the weather is outside before you go!
Great range on the outside sensor - and it reads outside humidity! The display is great - EXCEPT it reads atmospheric pressure in millibars for some reason - Temp in F or C no problem. I'm guessing this is some international deal, but there ought to be a toggle. Also, I've set an alarm for 10AM somehow, and I can't keep it from going off - but it gives up after a few minutes. VER NICE looking unit.

Totally disappointed
Item came as it had already been opened and used. Screen was completely scratched and some of the buttons didn’t even work. The screen also does not stay illuminated, you have to keep pressing the top button to get it to light up...completely unhappy and returning the item

The temperature is off by 2 degrees.
I love the way it looks and reads but, it's off by 2 degrees. If there is a way to calibrate it let me know.
