I work as a delivery driver and was in need of a rugged phone. The company does provide a phone but those are usually used to death and their batteries don't even last half a day. I had used a similar rugged phone in past so i decided to buy this Blackview BV6000S as i had heard good things about it from a friend who used it. The phone works very well, the battery is huge and lasts whole (10 hour work, screen, on all the time) day for me and still has some battery leftover furthermore te phone can also act like a powerbank and provide power to other devices in emergency ( I haven't tried this feature yet as i don't gave the cable required for that but it's a nice feature nonetheless). I now use this phone over the company provided one as this lasts me the entire day and does the job better.The phone comes with a power brick, charging cable, a pair of in-ear headphones and some tools which can be used to open the phone or insert sim/memory card. The packaging was pretty nice and it was a pleasant unboxing experience. Another thing which was included in the box was a screen protector. The screen is already very sturdy with Gorilla glass 3 but it's nice they included a screen protector anyways.The phone is very rugged and very well built. It's ip68 waterproof and dust and shock proof. The phone looks like it can survive a lot of abuse with the way it's body is built. Only time will tell but holding this phone in the hand feels very rugged and well built. I have used CAT phones in the past too and this feels pretty close to that quality. It felt very snappy and fast, i didn't notice any slowdowns in anything, from opening apps o playing videos.The screen is very nice and can get decently bright. I did notice it was on the blue-ish side, the screen seemed very cold. Everything i tried on it looked good, from Youtube to pictures to local video. There's a lot of buttons in the phone including an SOS button, a camera shutter button, volume rockers and the power button itself. The home/recent apps and back buttons are touch buttons at the bottom and they are backlit. The sound of the phone is somewhat low but i guess they had to make those speakers waterproof, hence the lower volume. The cameras are okay in outdoors bright light, it's lacking indoors where light is low but then again, this phone is to be used outdoors in outside tough working conditions whether it's construction work, deliveries or other such things where it's very much a possibility that the phone will be dropped or something heavy drops on top of it.The software is very close to stock and i didn't see any bloatware or useless/unwanted app. It was clean and simple. The android version on the phone is 7.0 which is fairly good, not the latest and greatest but this kind of phone is only to be used outdoors for work/tough working conditions anyways, so you might not want the latest UI/features. It also includes NFC which is neat if you use Google Pay like myself.In conclusion, very nice phone with some nice rugged body and cool features. Camera is okay outdoors, battery is the best thing about this phone in my opinion. Android version is simple without bloatware and phone is excellent for outdoor jobs.

I have use so many phone already ,pay that maybe coast $300 up , reason I buy this phone because price and full HD waterproof .that shape and style I love so much ,battery is good is good choice,recommend to person want try new phone that cost little work same as$ 300up phone.everyone should have this phone ,,,,,,,,,

I am from the USA and the only language I speak is English. First off, this separates my review from every other review - notice how every other reviewer speaks in broken English and puts in unnecessary details to make them seem real? Anyway, my main concerns... my phone seemed as though it was handled, it does not accept normal sized sim cards as used in USA and UK. The instructions are sooooooo bad - possibly written by the same people who have written the reviews. Not useable for me :-( I've searched online and not had joy. Don't but unless you know what you're doing. Thank you

Only wish my service provider would be able to get this on their Tmobile network. I hadn't have the pleasure to use this device. Just received and immediately went to Tmobile store were I was informed of this device issue. Sadly had to rewrap it. All this when the last thing on my mind to let the beautiful looks and feel go, yep gone as fast as it came to me.

I bought this phone for my husband. He had his previous phone for about 10 years so I knew I had to find something just as rugged. This phone is rugged but the speaker quality is TERRIBLE!!!! He started having problem shortly after receiving it and we restarted it but no help. He has to connect it to his Bluetooth in order for him to hear people or for them to hear him. Now programs will just randomly stop working or not work at all, like the alarm clock. I tried getting help from Amazon first but that was useless and then I tried through the company but that is just as bad!!! I would not suggest getting this phone unless you plan on only using it with Bluetooth!

I've had this for a year and I am a GIANT clutz (like dropping a couple times weekly), and it's still good :) screen protector has fine scratches and I can only find 3 ding marks on the phone itself. No extra case needed!Downside : the charger is weird. The Micro side is longer than a standard so a regular charger won't work :/ And it's a PAIN to find the right one to buy.But I love this phone!

Bought the phone for my kid, she thought it was good until the battery no longer took a charge. It was only four months old when it died.EditAfter talking with my kid again, it seems it is a failure of the charging port. For a bit she was able to hold the charging cord and get it to work sort of. Now it is totally not functioning.

By far the toughest phone I have ever owned. I am hard on phones to the point that I had given up even having anything better than a Walmart special. This phone impressed me so much that I decided to test it myself and it is everything it claims to be. My only complaint would be the screen is so tough it takes time to get used to the pressure but again that is the trade off for the tougher screen.
