Berkley Trilene XL Monofilament Fishing Line

This line works exactly like you’ll want it to at a good price point. The thickness is comparable to hair, and is a high quality product that has a good amount of stretch for preventing line snaps. It prevents me from losing fish in that regard, but also is lightweight enough that I don’t have trouble breaking the line if I get snagged. Couldn’t be more happy with the product.

Best monofilament line in the market (after fluorocarbon) it is durable and is almost invisible in the water. But I figured it doesn't strech as much, like what they advertise. I am sure you will be able to get more bites with this line. And here is a tip for not getting it strangled while spooling.Tip: After tying the line to the spool put the line in a big bowl almost filled with warm water then start to reel in while also streching the line a little so it goes in the spool straight. This helps the line to freely move into the right position which is why you might see the line flipping sometimes.

Triline is my favorite mono fishing line. I have reels spooled with 4#, 8#, and 10#. The leftover is used for leaders

I am impressed with this line. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’ve gotten this line stuck in trees in tight spaces and in the water. I’ve pulled several lures out of the trees and water with breakage and caught lots of fish with it. Knots are easily tied and snug.

If you go cheaper than Trilene it gets to be low quality. It's a good deal for the money. I would not use it for leader though.
