WHAT A JOKE !Soft steel show horn bent literally the first time I used it to put a shoe on with it. I don't need a shoe horn that I have to treat like a raw egg when using it. My old plastic show horn lasted much, much longer before the handle cracked off, so I needed a new one. Thought I purchase this one and get a quality product, not so much. What a disappointment and waste of my time.This SOFTIE will be returned !Will most likely get another plastic one ..

It bent the first time I used it. This is wayyyy overpriced. It should cost less than $3 because it is totally worthless. I ordered another brand at the same time that is much better than this one and was $2 cheaper. I have to throw it away now because it's not even worth wasting the time to try to return it. Totally useless piece of garbage.

I initially loved this metal shoehorn but I was disappointed when noticed that the metal has bent and it now will no longer guide my foot into my shoe properly. I have long plastic shoehorns that have never broken and of course will not bend. I thought that this metal shoehorn would be stronger than plastic - I was wrong. I will replace it with a plastic model and I recommend that you avoid metal if you need a long shoehorn.

A shoe horn is a simple device to design and make. This one is fine. The hook in the handle lets you hang the shoe horn on a closet rod. The material is stainless steel and is polished fairly well so one's foot slips down the horn and into the shoe or boot easily. The metal is thick enough. No problems.

I had to find out what inspired such passion so I called him. He was sooooo enthusiastic! He told me it was the best gift I have ever given him...I, a little annoyed at this point, because I had not given him a gift, slyly said ‘oh, you got it?’ ‘Oh yes, and they were so tight and I didn’t even have to bend over but I could have done it from the edge of the bed’ ‘oh???’ I coyly responded, wondering how deep he was going to dig....’Oh God, I just Love you sooooo much, this is the greatest shoehorn EVER!’ YEP!! Worked great for a few days before it bent/kinked as as I was using it. I was able to bend it back but it's kinked in the middle. Now it has a weak point and it will easily bend and possibly break. Still works, but now I have to pay close attention when using it so it doesn't bend again.

I had previously owned a plastic shoe horn that I bought at IKEA about 20 years ago. It cost me a buck (if I recall), and lasted until this past spring, when it cracked.This replacement is shiny metal, with a rubber handle. It does the job, only I wish I'd gotten a longer model. My old shoe horn was about 22 inches and I never had to bend before, to get the shoe horn in.Other than that, GO BABY GO!!!!!

I bought this product to help with slip on shoes that constantly folded over at the heel when I put them on requiring me to force my fingers into the heel to pull the back of the shoe back up. This also put a strain on my knees. My socks glide easily on the metal and the handle gives me a good grip. It fits in my carry on baggage but I have not tested it at airport security yet.

After breaking a couple of plastic shoe horns, I discovered this one. It's great. The only thing we have done is to drill a hole in the handle end, so we could put a piece of cord through to hang it up more easily. It would be an even better product if the hole could be drilled by the manufacturer.

Good seller, good quality product and fast delivery, the only thing I had to do was a bit of filing on couple little spots and it was perfect.

It's difficult to get excited about a shoehorn, particularly if age has made such a device a necessity.However, it looks far better than the standard issue plastic shoehorns, has a solid 'it won't snap feel', and is just the right length for someone still able to bend just a bit.The only downside is I dropped it on my wooden floor and dented the floor slightly. Put that down to user error, but a plastic shoehorn would not have damaged it.

Had a few short handled shoe horns but my husband now struggling with back problems, this addition is an absolute boon, no more struggling to put on his shoes.

Excellent piece of kit. Makes getting shoes on a dream after months of struggling. Essential for someone with back or skeletal problems
