Nowadays, as the number of people using interchangeable lens digital cameras increases, proprietary combinations of camera lenses and bodies are no longer able to satisfy the increasingly sophisticated demands of the many photography enthusiasts. The use of lens adapters have given users full rein of customizing their equipment to best fulfill their needs through different combinations of lenses and camera bodies. However, although individual camera manufacturers havecreated their own customized adapters, combining lenses and camera bodies of different manufacture has become an ever expanding challenge. At KIPON, a world-renown camera adapter manufacturer, we have developed over 400 types of adapters. With our various adapters, we offer our users the freedom and compatibility of lenses and camera bodies that transcends different times and manufacturers. We have made possible not only the interchangeable use of products across brands but also the use of traditional film lenses. KIPON offers a full line of camera lens adapters including macro adapters, electronic adapters, adapters with integrated glass, optical focal reduction adapters, adapters with built in aperture control, tilt/shift adapters, tilt adapters, and shift adapters. A middling focal reducer
The price is quite reasonable but the image quality is severely degraded even in the center of the image. The adaptor will cause all out of focus areas to swirl significantly which to some might be a plus.

Worth the cost over the other Chinese focal reducers
I bought one of these to use on my Fuji X-E1 with my assortment of vintage and other manual focus lenses and it worked wonderfully. I used cheap "dumb" adapters to convert my various vintage lenses to EF mount from C/Y, Nikon, Pentax, etc. and then used this reducer to mount them to the X-E1, the results were fantastic. The build is very good, it's not super heavy, but definitely has some heft to it, no flex or rattles at all. It's made of high quality metal and has a good paint finish on it, it locks securely on both sides for a good firm fit that's not hard to remove, fits like a lens built from the manufacturer. The center of the image with this reducer is very sharp, the edges are very decent even wide open. I never observed any strange flaring issues as reported by other cheaper focal reducers.I highly recommend this reducer for anyone who has a collection of vintage or manual focus lenses (which can be converted to EF) they want to use on their Fuji bodies, or to anyone who doesn't mind using their EF lenses wide open with manual focus.

A bigger piece of garbage it has not been my displeasure to own
A bigger piece of garbage it has not been my displeasure to own. If you don't mind your $2000+ Zeiss lens slipping from the very expensive adapter and smashing on the floor I recommend you buy this piece of s***e. If you prize your photographic glass however I'd recommend giving your lenses to a 2 year old before you consider buying this. They wouldbe safer. Steer clear.
