I said this was a soap It's not a soap. It is dermatologist recommended. Use it if you have acne.
If anyone is wondering if this is a good product, I was told to use this product when I was a teenager. And I am 60 now to help with acne. And it really does you want to use a good moisturizer for your face that has no oil in it. It's, you know, you need to use a really good face conditioner moisturizer with this product. Because it will dry your skin out until you get used to it. It is meant to kill acne. And it does work. So, yes, this product. I will never stop using. I've been using it for many, many, many, many, many years.

I have been using Purpose facial bars to wash my face since I was a teenager, over 20 years ago. It was recommended by my dermatologist for my moderate acne. It has helped keep my skin balanced and mostly clear since then. It leaves your skin feeling clean, not oily, doesn't promote breakouts (non-comedogenic), and a bar lasts a long time. The scent is less than desirable, smells like medicine, has a clinical smell. But, nothing else has worked for my face so consistently that it doesn't bother me. The only reason I gave this 4 stars not 5 is the value for the money. I can buy a larger bar in-store for around the same price as each of these comes out individually. But, the convenience of not having to go to the store right now is worth it. I would recommend this product to anyone struggling with acne, or anyone else who wants a balanced, all-around facial bar.
