Other Walthers kits have mitered 45 degree corners, these aren't like that - they have flat corners and made it harder to assemble. The sprues are bulky and hard to remove, I thought. This seems to be from a very old cast, so the details are not the best. It says copyright 1979 on the inside of the walls so there you go. Manufacturing has come a long way since then, especially in the plastic mold injection realm. If you are new to kit buildings take a shot at a larger kit. All the other kits I've gotten from Cornerstone were better made and easier to glue together than this one. For fear of repeating myself in other posts, the sample picture on the front is what gold medal model building looks like. Depending on experience, patience, figure-it-out-iveness, coordination, supplies, some luck, you'll get different results. The actual size is very small. I have ended up being overall happier in the end after the buildings were done, at first all the little pieces made me dizzy. Just remember that the little "mistakes" along the way actually give it a more realistic look once you're done. Think of messups like unintended weathering. That's how buildings age anyway, unevenly. Moderately advanced and will take more work to look good than some of the other Cornerstone models.

I have assembled many HO buildings, including other Walthers products. This is the first time I have every opened a kit and find out that there is no base. The picture on the package makes it look like it has a base sidewalk like other Walthers kits. Very disappointing and I would not have bought it for this price knowing this.

Not as nice as the more expensive Walthers kits, but if you have the time and are willing to spend a lot of time on painting, this will work for you.

Small but cute building, not much to it, but will be a nice addition to the railroad layout!

J’ai bien reçu l’item dans les délais, petit bâtiment, ce qui ce marie bien avec d’autre bâtiment dans un layout. Cependant pour ce qui est de l’auvent, il manquait les deux tiges pour un support sur le côté. Les instructions mentionne même de percer des trous mais aucune tige ou pièces pour joindre à l’auvent. J’ai dû fabriquer ces supports avec des cure-dents. Ça demeure quand même un beau produit.
