Hu Dark Chocolate Gems, 9 oz

I love these chocolate chips— or gems rather. They’re are a delicious no refined sugar option and it’s very convenient to get them from Amazon when my grocery store doesn’t have them or this size. They are quite expensive though.

Have been on a very strick gluten, dairy, sugar free, whole foods, organic, non- gmo plant based diet for the last six plus months. These are a great snack that feels a bit indulgent under the circumstances! Have lost 40lbs and these snacks really help me stay on track.

I’m tired of ordering vegan chocolate only to receive it and find out it is manufactured on shared machinery with milk, soy, nuts,etc. I have a life threatening allergy to milk. Products should only be labelled vegan if there is no chance for contamination. Lives depend on it. Vegan isn’t always a choice.

This brand of chocolate has amazing flavor & great ingredients. Unfortunately my mail carrier delivered the package late after the other pieces of mail had been delivered earlier in the day. I didn't find it until the following day & the entire bag was completely liquified. Had to let it harden most of the way, then slice it while it was still soft so it would be edible.

We use these for baby peanut butter kisses- I can’t stand the sweetness of the Hersey stuff and they’re just much bigger than most adults want when they want to have 8 different kinds of cookies at Christmas. Great for that use. Also just a nice sized chocolate chunk. Wish they came in more options

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love these chocolate morsels. However, the ones I ordered online arrived melted into a paste, which meant that even after chilling, I had a single chocolate chunk, which defeats the point of buying these. My local grocery co-op was able to order them for me after that, and they stayed intact. So buyer beware anytime warm or hot.

I sit at my desk for prolonged periods of time for work and gaming. Having this on my desk to snack on is really great. The bag zips shut as well so I don't have to worry about it spilling or attracting ants. I was initially a little concerned because the chocolates felt pretty solid before opening the bag, but after trying them out, it wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend.

I am allergic to cane sugar and corn sugar- they trigger nerve pain (and damage) because of small fiber neuropathy. Before I found these I was so depressed that I would probably never have chocolate (that I didn't make myself with coconut sugar) again. When I found these gems I rejoiced! Yes, they're a little pricey. Yes, sometimes they arrive melted. But they're so delicious, and I love just popping a few in my mouth or even baking with them. These, and the hazelnut bars are my favorites ♡
