RICA Brazilian Wax with Avocado Butter - Made in Italy - For Bikini & Face Wax (28.2 OZ)

I have used another wax by this brand and loved it so wanted to try this one without strips but this wax does not stick to hair enough to pull them out. Had to throw it out and order the one I originally loved, the RICA liposoluble wax for sensitive skin (to use with strips)

I thought it gonna fit my wax warmer machine but i didnt fit 😭😭

Takes forever to heat up

I read other reviews. And I can't stop laughing at some. Knife broke? Wtaf dude! You have to heat the wax! And knife? No! You have to use a wooden applicator! It even saves you from knife burns.I have been using this wax for facial hair for 1 year now, regularly. I even make my brows with this and it's so perfect! This wax has such a good grip. If you're new, HEAT THE WAX, transfer the amount you think you will be using into wax heater (upon reheating a number of times, it changes color. Effectiveness remains intact but just saying, be careful). Practice on your arms, legs. Don't just start waxing face or bikini area. It takes a lot of practice to get it right, A LOT OF PRACTICE, A LOT OF IT. Use wooden flat stick, like those of ice cream sticks to apply wax. It must be heated properly, thinner layer of wax is actually better than thick layer in terms of grip and thus removing hair. Apply it in direction of hair grow and pull against the direction of hair. Hold down the skin, from where you start pulling wax, with the other hand. When wax starts cooling down, it will leave strings sort of stuff behind so it's better to spread some old bedsheet on floor or bed, you will be using that in future sessions too. If you have residue left on your skin, use baby oil or olive oil to remove it. You can also use the wooden applicator to remove it, just tap its edge on residue and pull it with the applicator only.BEST PART: after having used this wax on face for one year (I still have half of it left), I have noticed that my facial hair reduced in number as well as thickness! I have PCOD, even medicines didn't help me as much as this wax did. (I haven't taken any medicine in past one year).I'm definitely ordering this product again. I'm moving abroad but taking one extra container of this badass product with me because I just can't use any other wax after having used this one and I can't take the risk of not getting it at the place I'm going to.10/10 for the Amazon service and product quality.

I am giving a genuine review of the product after purchasing and using it.1. The product has no cons. It's a hard Brazilian wax and if you are not familiar about it, first watch some videos about it and then use it.2. It does require a big wax warmer in which you can put the whole can of wax. I ordered a wax warmer along with it and it was not getting fit, so I had to warm it a bit on stove first and then I pour the melted wax in wax warmer.3. It's specially for small grown hair (facial hair) or underarms with a very little growth. I accidentally used it around underarms when the growth of hair was a bit lengthy and the experience was like traveling in hell. So nothing wrong with wax, but it's a growth depending wax.4. People who have written how bad their experience was with the wax is not because of the wax but because of the technique they used. I am totally naive about using any kind of wax on my own and this was the first time I purchased wax and used it but still as a first timer I did pretty well. So don't worry about the quality of the product, it's super awesome and if you know how to use wax then it will be great.. just keep in my mind the above points... (Big wax warmer else you have to melt it on stove first; don't use on heavy growth; watch some videos before using it).

PROS- It does not require strips, it leaves skin soft, it takes about a week's time for signs of new hair follicles to come.CONS- It is time consuming, you have to heat the wax again and again, its difficult to clean the remanant wax from the skin once you are done with waxing. It's good for under arms and bikini area but would not recommend for face

Read so many reviews so was bit spectical to buy. I must say one need to have some knowledge on how to do wax but before that how melt this wax 🤷At first I tried to melt wax by double pot water it did melted little bit after 20 min 😅so then I thought 🤔let me keep this tin in Pro wax machine to melt it further. I kept tin for almost 40 min & the wax did not melted at all. Infact I think it was again turning into stone🤦 I thought this is waste of money. On YouTube videos and lots of comments people have asked can we melt this wax on direct stove and mostly the answer was 'NO'🙁 and they all were wrong 😋 On low flame I kept a ring on top kept rica wax tin and with 1 min it started melting😀 you can see the pic also. So once it was melted I kept the tin in Pro wax heater to maintain the temperature. Finally💃I was able to wax and that too without any strip and it left my skin smooth and bump free.Remember to apply powder (any talcum) before was and oil (baby oil or coconut oil) after wax. If you have more budget on wax then buy pre and post wax stuff from Rica

The wax was worst for my skin condition.It damaged my skin. I wanted a replacement but there was no replacement policy for this product. Please don't busy this product.

This is a hard wax and melts on gas by double boiler method. It does dis job in 20 minutes. After that, I poured it in the wax heater container. Keep it at Max. Don't make it too liquid. Then keep the heater in medium. Keep a check on consistency .. not too thin . Not too thick. Caramel consistency. Apply a thin layer in the direction of hair growth, make the edges thick. Press on it for four seconds .. in one go peel off in opposite direction of hair growth ... At sensitive areas, please make smaller patches. Definitely painful. Any wax would be painful. But overall. Very good. No irritation. Safe to use. But please practice before usage .. try on legs and hands for few times. It's good.

Good wax but you need to be careful while using. But saves your money from costly facial waxing cost. Good quality. Its better you get the wax heater along with it for better usage.

Firstly no wax can be worse utility-wise_ since this is a film wax, so boy do you have to OVERHEAT it. A wax heater would not be ample. You gotta stand in the kitchen, burn your gas for this stupid wax tin to heat up til it becomes wax-like (it is rocksolid stone in its natural form). Plus it is painful, over time-consuming, and ineffective. The hair growth is faster than ever, some of the film is always remaining on the skin and it is so so so so much time-consuming than regular strip waxing. Additionally, it does not remove the tanning.

after reading lot of positive reviews i've orderd this product and i must say it was good while waxing and a little painful though ofcourse. but post waxing i''ve observed a lot of rashes and pimples on my face and hands :( i dont know how to get rid of them but guys its bad so plz dont buy it

Effective product, only drawback is that a lot of practice is required for perfect application.

I'm just in love with the smell. Not sure if I use it the way it should be cause its not painless as described by other reviewers. Its very hard and takes lots of time to melt. Don't know why there is so much of hype about this brand. Haven't checked its other variant yet.

First of all fastest delivery of product and that to in good condition. Amazon delivered it before 2 days very much happy with thatNow about rica wax.....It’s amazing wonder for sensitive skin. My skin is dry and sensitive, whenever I wax my face, small patches, redness, pimples, bumps occur within half an hour of waxing and it stay for more than 15 days. I tried so many types of waxing strip wax also and stripless wax also but nothing works as rica wax work.This was my first experience with rica wax and I applied for the first time at home believe me it works like miracle.Very happy with this product and fulfill all wht it claim.And now I will not hesitate to wax my face.

Best part is that I dont need a wax heating machine. I can place the tin directly on the gas stove (in low flame) to melt the wax and use it for bikini wax or on face (ex:upperlip). It needs a bit of practice to get it right. Go with small 2cm x 2cm patch and a bit thick layer in the beginning. No need of strips at all, it can be taken with hand. As you have to remove the wax with hand, lay a thicker layer than what you would go for when waxing your hands/legs.
