Use caution. We bought this powder for a color war at my daughters 14th birthday party. While separating the powder into small bags a little powder fell on my kitchen table and stained it when I cleaned it up! I was nervous letting the girls use the powder as I didn't have enough time to return and purchase new b4 her party so we bought shower caps to be sure the powder wouldn't stain their hair. They also were instructed to bring old clothes. Happy to report none of the girls hair were stained by powder and the color war was a huge it! This powder seemed to be a good value but use caution.

This powder was purchased for a party and arrived in a timely manner.The good:The bags were full and beautiful bright colors.The kids and adults had a blast chasing each other down and throwing it.The colors did not dye dark hair.The bad:The colors stained clothing and blonde hair. Several washes later have not even lightened the color from hair. This will cost me over $300 in corrective work. It also proved devastating to a 10 year old girl the night before her first day of school as her formerly blonde hair was now shades of yellow (did not look good or blend with blonde) and green. My friends assure me that the streaks of dark purple, green, and orange in my own hair are young and fun! While this is a testament to my friends loyalty and also the dyeing qualities of the powder it is not becoming, I assure you.If you plan on purchasing these powders please know what you are getting into. I'm pretty sure the parents of all four blonde children secretly hate me now and I am pretty upset that I will be coughing up big bucks for corrective color on my formerly lovely blonde locks.
