ATack RV Awning Repair Tape, 3" x 30 Foot, Waterproof Rip Stop Patch and Tent Repair Tape for Vinyl, RV punctures, Camper, Awning, Canopy, Tents, Tarpaulin and Greenhouse

I messed up and got my awning against my garage door opining and scuffed it about five feet long. This stuff covered it and yeah you can see it but will make it last longer than it would with out it. It stayed on perfectly from south west Mo. to north central Kentucky.

I used this tape to repair a two inch tear on the edge of my slide topper. The tear was about four inches from the top of the awning. Easy enough to use. I applied a patch on the top, with another on the bottom. Then I wrapped a third piece around around the end also covering the top and bottom patch pieces. The problem arose when I rolled the slide (and awning) in. The tape failed to remain in place, and instead simply pulled from the awning material. This tape may work for a flat type of tear, but didn't work for an edge repair near the top edge. All materials were dry at the time of repair.

Testing the adhesive with my finger before trying to apply this repair tape, I had my doubts. I had a 2" edge rip at the RV attach point with about 1/2" seam between the RV and canopy. Cleaned, applied and wrapped the repair tape around the leading edge of the tear and the adhesive was already holding before I forced all the air out to complete the adhesion. Then extended and retracted the canopy ALL the way to max a half dozen times and the ATack RV Awning Repair Tape held! I couldn't of been happier because sewing didn't work and we were looking to replace a $2k awning but, now I can avoid that big bill for a while. The price of this product -vs- $2k...? I feel comfortable recommending this ATack product as a 5☆ tool/product.

Vinyl awning with torn seam. Washed the area with APC and then with denatured alcohol. Let dry then applied tape. Hard to pull the tape off the roll. Got it in place and put several layers to make it thick enough to sew through and hold the tear. Before I was part way through the repair it started to peel off. We shall see... When touching it it sticks like crazy everywhere but the awning. Update: has peeled complexly off. Very sticky on the back of the tape still just won't stick to the vinyl.

worked better than duct tape, but didn't hold up as well as I thought it would.

Used this on my weathered awning that is beginning to crack at the roofs edge. Easy application, and I was pleased at how sticky the adhesive is. I was expecting something like packing tape, but this was much more.

It does not stick very well to pop up canopies. I think clear duct tape would work better. We'll see how long it lasts.

Can't really review it yet but hopefully it will fix a few spots on our awning.

The product was as shown and delivered on time

I spent at least two hours supposedly repairing a straight tear in my pergola awning a few weeks back. First heavy rains this week and this 'waterproof' tape has turned out to be a disaster. So, it's back to square one. I'm very disappointed. And have to start again from scratch as winter rolls in! Life's tough enough as a 77-year-old pensioner.

Easy to use and gives a nice finish to the repair vinyl. We used it on our 20' awning and it works well. I would have given 5 stars if the material was a little thicker, but it does the job!

The adhesive used in this tape is simply too weak to be of any use. When using on a PVA awning, the tape began to lift within a few minutes. I consider this product to be no more effective than regular sticky tapes.

Product exactly as described. Waiting to see what the sun does to it.
