I don't have to move to Ireland yet - it is working!
No Snakes as of Today - I placed the product about a month ago. I have frequent issues with rat snakes that are typically about 5 to 6 feet long -- no kidding. I have a tremendous fear and anxiety about these demons, so I am vigilant in looking for them and evidence of them. This product has worked better than another competitor's that I tried - Snake A Way. It was not a scientific, controlled test -- but I saw snakes after that product was placed within days.These are supposed to be beneficial snakes for rat control, etc but now that one has come into my home - I have to discourage them or move to Ireland. It has been much cheaper to buy this product.I will post if I have an update on it in the future. As with most products like this, you do need to reapply and apply as directed.My biggest gripe is the packaging. My heart rate goes up just looking at the image of the bag.

Haven't Seen a Snake in Months
I appear to have a family of black racers in back of my house that I see all too frequently. One managed to get onto my screened porch and another (or maybe the same one) tried getting into my garage. Thankfully I was spotted him before he could enter and chased him out. A friend suggested snake pellets which I never even heard of and didn't know there was such a thing. I looked on line and sure enough - all kinds of snake repellents. I have spread this one in front of my garage door, side doors and all around my back fencing. It's been two months and I have not seen the snakes around. Of course it is the middle of winter - but we do live in Florida so I'm assuming they are still active. So far I'm quite happy with not seeing anymore snakes.

in case the brand in the container doesn't work as well, I got this to put in the container to make it easy to apply to areas under a weeping willow tree on a hill on the side of the house.....so I haven't tried it yet!

Keep them at a Distance.
This is the second year I have used this product and it has so far kept the snakes at bay. Know it does not work for the whole summer but it helps when things first get started. Easy to apply and use.

Can't tell how effective this is yet. Put this out in the yard Monday and haven't seen a snake yet. Does give me a slight bit more comfort that maybe my dog won't get bit again.Plan to need more of this then you think. I have a medium size yard and this bag was not enough to treat one side, let alone all the way around.

Seems to be keeping snakes away from our yard!!
I don't know if it's the snake shield or just luck but we haven't seen any snakes since using this. Granted before we had only seen one but it was a copperhead so I wanted to do everything I could to put a shield around our home. It has a very strong spicey smell but it's not unpleasant. I'll keep using it in the hopes that this is what keeps the snakes away!

Snakes love it! Oh, that wasn't the purpose?
The picture says it all. Scattered it around the coop and behind the nesting boxes and alas, a giant rat snake eating all our eggs. Does not work.

Worked great in AZ!
This worked great at my house in Arizona. We have red racer snakes that like to hide out the garage and on the patio under furniture. After putting this out, I've seen none in the hiding places where I found them last year and they seem to have moved on (and hopefully not just to the neighbors!)
