The material offers good heat protection (I can handle a 200 degree pork but or stick my hands in boiling water) but they are not comfortable. You lose almost all manual dexterity with these things so these are not useful in protecting your hands while you turn over meat on your grill or anything like that. Your hands will sweat within seconds of putting them on and taking them off can be a chore. But they rinse off pretty well unlike suede bbq gloves.

These gloves are well made, durable, and have a good quality. I ordered a large pair, that were a little snug for my hands. The extra large size fit my hands better. Adam from Starmade Group was quick to rectify the problem. A good company to order from.

As advertised, these gloves allow you to handle hot objects, either dry or wet, with no risk of burning or scalding. I use these for everything in the kitchen and the grill. I even use them for my home-brewing hobby. Fit is great. The grip is excellent and allows you to handle otherwise slippery items with confidence. There is enough dexterity there to handle fine items while keeping your hands from burning. I would recommend these to anyone that needs an all around great tool in the kitchen. When I wear these out, I will surely get another pair.

I'm sure these insulate well but just ergonomically they are difficult to get on and off and my hands instantly begin to sweat in these because they are so impermeable. They are well-made and heavy, and very generously sized (I have larger-sized hands but nothing freakish; generally order things XL when it comes to hands but these looked like they were made for Andre the Giant and I probably would have been fine with a size down). I ended up replacing these with "Revolutionary 932°F Extreme Heat Resistant EN407 Certified Gloves" which were made of a breathable woven material that was striped in silicone for grip and added heat resistance. Those are now my go-to but apart from my very subjective reasons there is nothing functionally wrong with these gloves as far as I can tell.

Sturdy product, sleeve long enough to protect good portion of wrists and lower arms. I expect it to last.
